Inn Tourist Hostel in Helsinki

Be forewarned: if you book this hostel through a booking site you will not get the codes you need to access the Lobby to even reach the hostel! I waited 40 minutes before I found an unlocked restaurant entry door to access the lobby! The staff knew it was a problem but took no measures to ensure I had information to access the hostel. Very poor customer service. After a long travel day, all you want is to have a quiet place to unwind not roam around an abandoned office complex! The rooms are clean but VERY basic. Like no hooks in the door to hang your towel? Sheer curtains instead of blackout? No AC and the window opens right into your head as you lay in bed?!?! Things can be simple yet thoughtful…this is not.

Check in was easy and we got all the information we needed beforehand. The room was clean but hot and it wasn't even the warmest summer day. Luckily it was possible to open the window but then traffic noises were loud. During summer it would be too hot to sleep there. Other guests were loud far over midnight and the walls didn't block the noises. There weren't blackout curtains and bc Finland's summers are bright, it wasn't dark during night. Shared bathrooms were otherwise clean but silicons had mold in them and looked horrible. There were some kitchen equipments and a fridge available which was great. I don't recommend to stay there, unless you want to avoid sleeping.

So difficult to find the entrance, and u will never get the code until you ask them! They don’t even remind you that u need the code to get in this place which has no sign at all! I took 30mins walk around all the area and finally find the entrance with another name on it.

No! You did not send me any information before I call you! Big liar! Look at the photo I attached! I called you at 7:00 and you send me the info at 7:02. How dare you can say that you send the info on the day and I should check it ?! Unacceptable attitude! You don’t admit your faults and blame to customers!

They advertise that you can store luggage, but in reality, none of their staff are there before noon. Am I supposed to delay the start of my trip until after noon just to accommodate their policy? This is the first time I've encountered staff who need information repeated several times to communicate. And when I didn't respond immediately after hearing him say luggage could only be stored after noon, he kept asking 'Hello?' Listen, sir, my patience isn't unlimited. If I had known that I couldn't actually store luggage before noon, I wouldn't have booked this place at all. It's a scam, and still haven't received a full refund.
And I had already canceled the room before they notified me that they would make an exception and let me check in early. Brilliant!

We did no revived clear address direction. We did no received door entrance code in advance. Very confuse. Terrible customer help. Not recommended!
