Great hostel in a good location, very close to Talinn ferry and walking distance to port and city center. Clean, comfortable room, good shared bathroom and kitchen, nice staff, good wifi.

Very close to the port, making it convenient for those arriving from Stockholm or Tallinn. My single room didn't have a private bathroom, which was a minor inconvenience as I had to use the shared facilities outside the room. However, the room itself was clean.

Staff were very nice location is good but not close to main city, showers have no locks and the heating doesn’t really work sometimes

I spent a few nights in one of the shared dorm and found the stay fairly good overall. The dorm was tidy, and it was useful that each bunk had a power socket. There was also a spacious locker for each guest, operated with the room key. I came across comments raising concerns about locker security, so that may be worth keeping in mind. Just 10mins from the city centre by tram. I got a 1Day-pass so it was very convenient. The room is clean. There is 24h supermarket next to the hostel. Highly recommended.

All good, I would like to praise the two guys for keeping the hygiene etc for the whole place spick and span from kitchen to rooms. They are doing an excellent job tidying/cleaning it. Even though the location is served by trams and buses, it's still a bit far from the city centre and public transport is a quite expensive for a single trip.

The window was really drafty, the curtains fluttered when you opened the front door.

I was living in this hostel for about 6 months. Rooms are approximately 10 m2 by size (no difference between single and double rooms). There is a TV, a coffee maker and a kettle and also a fridge in every room. Basic dishes in every room included. Kitchen and the bathroom are shared. The room was clean, but the toilets and hallway were quite dirty, but understandable when everyone uses the same toilets. The shower room could have a trash can and paper to wipe hair and other dirt (there was a razor blade cover) off the floor drain grate before taking a shower.

Those who come to Finland, Helsinki who don't have any one any relatives, friends ,family. I will better recommend to stay in the hostel . Overall is ok, for the money value. However, some basic repair or common spaces ( doors, locks in wc, bathrooms) would give better impressions.

Excellent service. Public transport close by. Rooms are nice and clean in a quiet neighbourhood. Also good for long term stay. Personal is very friendly and absolutely helpful. Supermarkets close by.

Basically this place would have quite some potential, alas seems to be run down, not maintained and not cared for.

Personnel was not un kind. The rooms were not dirty. It is 40min away from the city centre by bus. For the price (I paid 20€ during a weekend on high season) I would come. Only thing could be better for me is more ventilation in the rooms.

The hostel is excellent, the rooms are large and super comfortable, with great beds and curtains that make it even more comfortable to sleep well. Super empty in Winter, nice chats with host, clean, right next to ferry, ferry runs also late at night, so easy access to City Center and Suomenlinna is just great for Walking.

The hotel on Suomenlinna Island was clean and had strict rules, so it was a comfortable stay. However, I was not sure if they provided towels or if I had to pay for them, so be careful.

Inntourist hostel Was within easy walking distance to city centre, as it's a tower building on 9th floor ensure you get building code if arriving late as it was all locked up when I arrived and had to wait for another guest to let me in, otherwise comfortable rooms and decent shower rooms at an affordable price

For the price, it was decent accommodations. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. My only complaint was the temperature, though the unit has central a/c, there is no control of the temperature and everyine in my party was hot and had sweaty nights.

The hotel was good for solo traveller cost also cheap

I was worried about whether I could get into the room, but I was able to contact them using WhatsApp, which I installed in Japan. The room had a refrigerator, a water heater, cups, forks, etc. It was a convenient location.

It's nice to have single rooms. Self check in.
