Helsinki, Mannerheimintie 46 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room is very clean, small but well-equipped. Convenient transportation, opposite the lake, very quiet and comfortable. The meals are very hygienic and rich, especially the local pie is delicious.
Outstanding customer service, easy to go location and excellent amenities
Swimming pool, sauna, just to receive tourist groups, there are many people, good breakfast
Walking to the hotel takes 16 min. Room is large. Swimming Pool is good but opening hours are very short (limited to afternoon from 3pm to 7pm). If weekend, the pool is opened for morning too but opening hours are very short too (7am to 11am). These are not convenient. The changing room door could not be closed
The hotel is very big, there are many people, it is easy to get lost,
There is a park opposite, it is convenient to travel
The breakfast is rich, but the bed is too small, the single beds are combined, and the room is not big. Stayed for three nights
The facilities were OK but nothing more. The bar and restaurant were expensive.
When our room was serviced in took around seven minutes, no sign of a vacuum cleaner. The beds weren't made either

Room was great, high ceiling with nice interior, toilet has bidet, which is awesome but it is connected to the tap sink. To turn the bidet, you need to turn on the tap. If you off bidet, it will flow back to the tap which is such a huge waste of water. The hotel does not sustainability.

Very conveniently located beside the Helsinki train station. Hotel compound is large and spacious. Rooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. Overall a comfortable stay. Gym was decent too with adequate weights and cardio machines
My three-night stay at this hotel was exceptional, primarily due to its prime location adjacent to Helsinki Central Railway Station and major tourist attractions. The breakfast and bar offerings were outstanding, and the accommodations were notably comfortable. I particularly appreciated the well-maintained garden situated within the hotel. The staff consistently demonstrated a friendly and courteous...
Great location! Easy to navigate the beautiful Helsinki. It is actually a junction of the Grand Ventral Station. Very well organized hotel with all facilities. Although it is located at the heart of the city, it is very quiet during night. The hotel ambiance is very cozy, excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!
Unbeatable location, nice breakfast and venues, friendly services. Our compliment to a front desk lady staff who helped us to upgrade our room since the housekeeping missed cleaning our room accidentally (we left the room in normal morning hours without DND sign). One point about the sauna: we anticipate it would be sizable and found it was tiny and humbly equipped therefore we did not try it eventually...
A very decent hotel with high convenience, just 3min walk from Helsinki Central Station. The breakfast is good too, highly recommended.

Craziest hotel I have recently visited. We can spend a full day at the hotel just to chill and relax.
Skypool, sauna and Skybar are pretty awesome, marvellous view up top, and with lots of facilities.
Hotel restaurant with very nice food and breakfast.
Room environment is awesome, too. Enjoyed sunset directly sitting near the window
Room was clean and with all the necessities needed. Good breakfast options.
We asked the reception to borrow some slippers to use in the Pool area but they said those were only for certain rooms. We could not use the chromecast (tv went black as soon as we entered chromecasting and no options to connect appeared), asked reception about this and they rebooted the system but we could still not use it...
New with modern style with excellent facilities, but a little bit far from metro
Staff didn’t help with luggage and claimed that management prevented them to help guest …! We will not stay again when there’s no guest serveip, especially when management say not to help, what kind of hotel is this ,,,?
A nice upmarket place but not so expensive. Good rooftop pool / gym / bar
The hotel is situated a bit further from the city center, but there is no need to worry because the public transport around the hotel is excellent and efficient. The breakfast offered is great, and while the bed is quite soft, I would prefer it to be a bit firmer for better back support. The housekeeping staff was very helpful. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I look forward to staying at the hotel...

Spent a few days here due to attending a conference in the city. Absolutely loved the place - now part of the Hilton chain but with real underlying character.
My room was reasonably large and very comfortable. I didn't have any issues with the bathroom becoming waterlogged after showering. Comfortable bed with excellent pillows. Comfortable easy chair and desk chair. No complaints on that count.
...
Such a serene experience. The hotel is located in a quiet, peaceful and greenery neighbourhood. It has a big park close to it where you could take long quiet walks!
The location is great for exploring the nature outside the city by bike, and it’s only a 20-minute tram ride or a €15–20 Uber into Helsinki city center. The sea view room was worth the upgrade. However the air conditioning in the room was not very strong, and I had to go to reception to request a key to open the window. When I did, it was difficult to open and covered in spider webs.
We spent seven nights here and had a genuinely lovely time. Let’s start with the rooms: clean, no doubt – but also showing their age. If I had to guess, the last renovation probably happened when flip phones were still a thing. The only real letdown was the bathroom situation: every shower turns into a mini flood. There’s no basin, no slope, no separation – the water just runs freestyle across the...
Nice hotel. You can tell in some places that it is a bit older, but it was very well maintained and cared for. The absolute plus points are: the location. Just a few minutes by tram from the city centre, you are in a very privileged, quiet location right by the sea. The staff. Always friendly and helpful, never stressed, every member of staff does everything to make you feel at home. The small pool...
The room was really hot and I was surprised that there was no air conditioning, only a fan that circulated the same hot air around. However, this is a 5-star hotel

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with my family. The location is excellent everything we needed was close by and very convenient. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming.

Great location and easy to get to from Airport on train or in uber. Room was great very comfortable. Check in was so friendly and informative.
The Sauna was great, with separate saunas for men and woman. It was very clean.
The breakfast had lots of options and was very tasty.
Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna offers a beautiful city view, perfect for relaxing and taking in the sights.
The breakfast is lovely, and dinner is equally delightful, making every meal memorable.

I have anything to say. Wonderful service!!!!
This amazing hotel is centrally located, very spacious, clean, the lady in the reception gave a room with view, it's amazing to wake up to Helsinki town view for two morning

The room phone was broken. We notified and reported it, but no one came to fix it.
On the first day of check-in, one of the free water bottles in the room was almost opened. Later, the waiter replaced the water with new one.
The hotel is located close to the city center, about 10 minutes' drive. The feeling of space in the room is okay, and there is a heating line under the bathroom. Breakfast is absolutely fine. The only shortcoming is that the House keeping service is not in place. After using the shampoo at night, it was not replaced tomorrow morning. There was no refill after finishing the coffee. Very good, great in every aspect. I will choose this place next time I go to Helsinki
Very satisfied, the service is also very good, I will stay here again next time I go to Helsinki.
I attended conference for 2 days. Food served during lunch buffet was really of good quality. Deserts served during lunch time looked like bakery chef craft with berrys and chocolate along with simple colorful macaroons.
The location was good for a walk because it was in front of the lake. The sauna and swimming pool facilities were also good. The only thing was that breakfast was late (7:30) because it was summer, so it was a little inconvenient.

What a hotel! Very good! Great staff! Amazing room woth sauna hence why I went here! Breakfast was out of this world good! I have no complaint what so ever! Will be back for another staycation
Been many times in other cities and was always nothing but excellent. This time not all perfect. A room with a miniature sauna as such is a great idea. The sauna taking 40 minutes to heat feels a bit too much. Clean room, nice bed – if you like a very hard bed – with two different sizes of pillows. Excellent sound proofing in rooms. Details well-thought out in the room, e.g. ability to adjust lightning...
The bed could be a bit more comfortable, but overall, my experience in this hotel was great. One gets a real feeling of the coziness of Lapland. The breakfast variety was great, very healthy and high quality options.

The staff was adorable. Would definitely book again.
Very happy with the room, the breakfast and gym+sauna. The staff is so friendly and helpful, definitely will come again. Location is perfect for a little city holiday. Lot of effort in all the details!!

Delightful property situated among shops and restaurants. Relatively short stroll from train station. Clean, comfortable room with pleasant, attentive staff. Highly recommend.
The location is super cute, and the hotel half ways and the decor definitely look modern and upscale. They also have rituals amenities for the shower. The breakfast was WOW! I had an amazing stay on this hotel. The room is awesome and will most likely book this again when the price is reasonable relative to its competitors around the area.
The location is okay, the room is with sufficient facilities. However, it is to alert there might be some strange smell sometimes when the sewage tanker comes.
The area around the hotel seemed to be more of a business district with many companies, rather than a tourist spot. It's a bit of a distance from the city center, but it's within walking distance to the subway, and only one stop away from Kamppi, the city's central hub. Nice hotel in the city centre, just a few kilometres from the zoo. Everything was really good, including the service and facilities such as the sauna and small pool, which guests can use without limits. The executive lounge was also an amazing experience.

It's great- nice views of the city, but very busy (and not well organised).

Good hotel, depending on where your rooms are, you might need to get your luggage up some stairs.
The adjunct Murphy’s cafe has some activities you might enjoy. Life music.
As there is a strict time when the music stops, hardly any issue about disturbances.
I’ve taken a star off because the room doesn’t have proper blackout shades!! This is of course a must right now (June) when sunset is at 11 pm and sunrise is at 4 am. I was shocked. A hotel with great design, friendly staff and great breakfast.
The standard double room size is fine but the rest room is very small. Bed is comfortable. In room amenities are quite good, with a capsule coffee machine.
The rooms are a bit old fashioned already but personally I like it. They have their own character compared to many popular business hotels. But this is really matter of taste. This place is a lovely budget friendly option. My room was very pleasant, however, customer service is only conducted over the phone which can be a bit annoying if you are shattered like I was. This is best booked via the companies app.
A weird smell from the shower head in the toilet. It was alright for one night at a reasonable rate in Helsinki. A few nice add on as the microwave, water boiler and a fridge, plus a few coffee pouches.
I stayed for 1 night only, I could say it was pretty good, wasnt there so much noise from the street, there was no customer service, the room was quite clean ! It is not the kind of places you would stay for many days or weeks ! I think couple of few days would be fair enough !
The rooms have self check-in and codes sent to phone available, making them easy access if you have to get a room late at night or at strange hours. My room was standard and tidy, the bathroom sink handle was extremely hard to turn, but other than that the room was great; there was a mini fridge, a double bed and TV, along with a water boiler and a hairdryer. The AC wasn't adjustable and quite loud...
This was my first experience with European micro hotels. The facility is a little older, but my only real complaint was with the thermostat. On two stays over the course of ten days, one room was set to 15c and one was set to 22c. I really don't understand the thermostats, but it wouldve been nice to have a way to change.the temperature in advance of my arrival.
