Skyline Airport Hotel in Vantaa

They haven't cleaned the room in four days (!), even though I asked reception two times and the cleaner 1 time (she shrugged and said it was not on her list). Reception staff is very polite but don't take action. To me this lack of service is absolutely mind blowing.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing from the start. When I arrived on the first day, the room was not properly cleaned. The floor had clearly not been vacuumed, the pillow cover had stains, there was hair in the shower drain, the soap bottle was empty, and there was still food left in the fridge from the previous guest. That alone already left a bad impression.

To make matters worse, when I later started drinking a beverage I had brought myself on the hotel terrace, the staff approached me in a very rude and disrespectful tone. They told me it was not allowed due to Finnish law — which I understand and respect — but the way they communicated it was unnecessarily harsh. They even insisted on throwing away my drink, which I did not agree with. A simple, polite explanation would have been enough.

Overall, the staff seemed unfriendly or at least extremely serious, and the atmosphere was far from welcoming. This kind of treatment is not what you expect when staying at a hotel, especially one that receives international guests. I cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and relaxed stay.

Don't know what to say about this hotel. We arrived at the hotel, 2 adults and 2 children, and tried to check in. They find no booking for this period but after some searching the receptionist discovers that the booking is made for 4 nights in February 2026 and not June 2025. The booking is non-refundable and made via Booking.com.
I ask the hotel to help me with a new booking by canceling the incorrect one in February 2026 and taking the difference in price.
Then the hotel says that they cannot give the money for the booking in February (almost 700 euros) back. They ask me to check with Booking.com. I call Booking.com and they are helpful and say they accept the cancellation, however the hotel refuses to refund the wrong booking and I end up making a new booking for almost 900 euros. For the 900 euros we got a tiny room for 4!! where the cleaning is poor is not worth at all.
I know I made a mistake by booking the wrong date but such human errors can happen and the hotel has 8 months to fill the wrong booking I made for February but they refuse. Have traveled around a lot but I have never come across such bad service with 0 understanding.
