Hotel Le Beau Rivage in Gerardmer

Lovely hotel, friendly welcome. Absolutely stunning view to greet you. Swimming pool and great value spa to use sauna etc after a long journey. We will be back. Restaurant was closed so we went out locally (amazing). Breakfast in the hotel was good, so much choice and excellent coffee. We will go back.

I have booked this hotel a few months in advance because I wanted a hotel with SPA and close to the lake. 🤩🥰🏞

Location 📍: The hotel is very well placed at the border of Gerardmer Lake. It is easy to find on the way, and it is very well placed, at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and other interest points. You can quickly reach by car the waterfalls of Tendon, the equestrian center Equi'val 🐎, the charming village Tholy, the Confiserie Geromoise🫐, the bed linen manufacturers, the gas station and supermarkets.

Facilities 🛏 : The hotel offers nice cozy rooms with or without view to the lake. I have chosen a room with a stunning view to the lake and mountains 🏞. In the room, you have a small fridge, a kettle, shower, toilet, and balcony. In the hallways, you will find water dispensers. The hotel has a private parking space🚘 and a heated pool. You will receive a nice card holder with the access card for the room, the password for the internet, and the code to enter the hotel after 23:00.

Extra services🪔: the hotel offers SPA services (sauna, hamam, jacuzzi🛁) for an extra charge and with reservation🕔. They also offer massage 👐 or beauty services through an external provider. You can also choose to take breakfast 🥞🍞🥖🥚🍶☕️🍽there for an extra charge. Every service that you opt for will be paid at the end of your stay. 👍👏 You can also choose to have dinner at their restaurant Cote Lac (which we did for 2 nights), whose menu📋 you will find in your room.

The staff 👧: I have found the staff very respectful, helpful, welcoming, and ready to help with any information. They are always present at the front desk for any issue or question that you might have.🥰👏👍🙏

After spending 3 nights there, I have to praise the quality of services (room, view, pool, spa), the kindness of the staff, and the quality and taste of the food served for breakfast that is produced there.

I only have two small complaints:
- I didn't find the breakfast varied enough (I missed some vegetables)
- the quality of the internet was very bad, at least in our room.

As closing remarks, I will add that without the two small exceptions presented above, everything in our stay at Hotel Beau Rivage 🏤 was perfect. So thank you for the services, and I can't wait to come back. 🙏👍👏🥰⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have spent 3 days in this hotel with our two kids. The staff is vert pleasant, infrastructure is good quality. The hotel is very well located, 5 min walking distance rrom city center and right in front of the lake. Swming pool is great for the kids. Spa is very small but massages are very good quality. We will come back next year without hesitation!

Great views. Great breakfast. Rooms very nice. Bathrooms very modern in a classic hotel setting.

We went there for a drink. The ambience was fantastic. The cocktail was fantastic. However the waitress brought the bill with the first order!!!!! I've got a few problems with that. Firstly I do not appreciate when the bill is served without asking. Secondly it puts me off from ordering the second time. We wanted to eat dinner there but decided not too. The hotel needs to rethink this practice. Otherwise a great service in a great ambience.

Lovely hotel overlooking the lake, trying to get a drink from the bar was very hard work, asked staff and were told there was a private function and the bar was closed, asked at reception who got a manager and apologised and said it is open, every time we wanted a drink over a 2 day stay we seemed to get ignored by the staff where other people were getting served.

Nice room, probably renovated, in a hotel close to the lake in Gérardmer. The hotel has a spacious parking.
Breakfast is with a very complete buffet and in a nice setting - a bit too dark for summer but probably very cosy in winter.
There is a garden in front where it's very good sitting and enjoying the summer afternoon with a book, while overlooking the lake. Romantic, yes. 😉

Excellent location on the edge of the lake .The room was clean and modern with a good shower and the breakfast was a good continental. Didn't have dinner in the hotel only some drinks there was a piano and a pool table with good seating areas .
