Lovely renovated hotel with great service and delicious breakfast.

Nice hotel conveniently located
Good stay overall. We stayed for a couple of nights in the family room #10. Room was clean, comfy and spacious. The bedroom is made of 2 rooms. The main one includes the double bed and the bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The second room has 2 single beds and a separate toilet. Both rooms have a balcony, TV’s and wardrobes. Staff was friendly, especially the two ladies from the breakfast. Buffet breakfast was good, with a good selection of bread, pastries, cereals, juices, etc. Private and secured free parking at the back of the hotel.

Perrine on the front desk was very welcoming and gave us a choice of rooms. We were put on the third floor with a window view of the lake. The room was beautifully laid out. Space in all rooms. Large comfortable bed. The hotel is very well kept and gives a charm of another age. The breakfast was good standard buffet. Good value for that level of luxury.

Our 4th stay at Hotel Des Bains and still love returning to this amazing hotel in the centre of Gerardmer. We had an amazing room on the top floor with a fabulous shower. The breakfast continues to offer a vast choice of food with excellent coffee served in a pot at your table. Staying at Hotel Des Bains feels very grand with its wide huge staircase rising through the centre of the hotel. Always a bonus when parking is on site.

Our stay was great! We have booked for five nights, however due to circumstances we have left after three nights. When asking the people at the reception whether it was possible to modify the duration of our stay, they were very cooperative and took action immediately with booking.com.
It was all arranged just the same day, for which we are happy. The breakfast was great, room was clean and the interior is cosy.
Strongly recommend the place to stay especially if you would like to have an active vacay (we have done some bicycling and hiking)

Big and clean rooms. Very kind staff.
This hotel has no elevator. And the ventilation in our bathroom did not function. Toilet did not have vantilation.

It's a cozy and nice "old" hotel.
I advice it for couples with or without children that want to have a quiet stay. Being an old hotel you will not have a lift to go up but have intermediary stages that help you to go up. Even if it's an old hotel, the room's are very modern with almost all the utilities that you can find on a modern hotel, except a jar to hot the water to make your own coffee or tea on the room. Have a closed small parking space but you can park in front or at the side of the hotel for free. It's very near to the center and to the lake, you have even in the same street, in the direction to the lake, a free bus that will take you to the ski station.
