When you rent a room with air-conditioning, you expect that the device is working. Can be a new model, an old model, silent or noisy, but you expect that the AC should be working somehow. They supposely have AC in the rooms, with a modern digital panel control, that you start playing with it as an idiot (with no results) until you discover they set the temperature they want in a central panel(not really cold at all, so they can save some money- so, you set the temperature in the "fake panel" but only to feel you are doing something, however, useless) . In the european global warming summer, this is not acceptable. But It gets worse:at least in the case of my room, only the digital panel of AC was on- no air on the ducts, no change of fan speed, nothing else was working in the AC equipment. I spent the night in a hot sauna, paying the price of an AC room, and of course not sleeping as I should.
