Reviews
I have no complaints about the cleanliness of the room, but let's not even mention the tiny bathroom where getting dressed was difficult (with details not worthy of a 3-star hotel, such as a hole in the baseboard behind the toilet and a wobbly cupboard door under the sink).
However, the breakfast was very expensive for the limited selection! There wasn't even ham or eggs, no honey, just three measly jars of jam, two mini chocolate croissants and three mini croissants, two slices of white bread... and all the products were from supermarkets (including Coeur de Lion cheese, Andros fruit compote, and industrially produced sliced bread). There were no fresh products (apart from a few pieces of fruit), even though the hotel website states otherwise. For a 3-star hotel, being offered such a meager and limited breakfast is unacceptable in my opinion.
Also, the reception was closed when we arrived around 1 p.m., and there was a sign on the door saying "Reception will open at 2 p.m."... not worthy of a 3-star hotel either.
And a slightly annoying detail was the significant slope on the first floor where we were staying. The floor is so steep that there was at least a 3 cm gap under our room door!
I won't elaborate on the rather cold reception; not exactly unpleasant, but not exactly warm either.
And the payment upon arrival also bothered me, even though it is indeed stated on the hotel's website. I understand why, given that the reception is closed for a good part of the day! In short, very disappointed.
I just read your reply... We got our room after 2 p.m. since the reception was closed when we arrived!! So we went to eat at the Asian restaurant across the street and came back after 2 pm! So what you're saying is false!
Regarding breakfast, you're charging the same price for a reduced buffet because the hotel is under-occupied? You admit your breakfast was poor! At that point, you should have warned guests and not offered breakfast at all! That's a bit disrespectful to your September clientele! Especially since the room rates are those of the high season! It's a bit like you cut off our electricity or hot water because there weren't enough guests, in order to save money! Because that's pretty much what it is, you're saving money at the expense of customers who are still paying full price for a room and a low-quality breakfast!
The rooms are very clean, albeit a little small, but very functional.
The welcome was also very warm, and the owners are pleasant.
The only downside is the price of breakfast, given the selection: 14 euros for two mini pastries and drinks.
The hotel is very well located and quiet! There's no luggage storage, but we were able to leave our belongings in the hotel lobby until the evening, which was very convenient (although we were a little apprehensive, we retrieved our things without any problems!). The only slight drawback was that it was extremely hot in the hotel and in the room when we arrived (no air conditioning). Aside from that, it would undoubtedly be a 5-star hotel! Thank you!
The breakfast was overpriced, with only two mini pastries per person.
The portions were very small, no buffet.
The manager was very cold and distant.
The room was tiny with a very cramped bathroom! It was impossible to get dressed in the bathroom.
Breakfast was taken outside, varied and fresh products.
The owners are discreet, provide good advice and are attentive to the well-being of their guests.
The managers are lovely and warm 🤩
Hearty breakfast
3rd stay in sight at the end of May what else😉
