I am reviewing this hotel as a storage facility for our luggage, while on a couple of hours stop-over in beautiful St. Jean de Luz. On route to Biarritz airport we stopped over in St.Jean de Luz for a few hours with our luggage in tow. Hotel de Paris provides the only luggage storage facility in the area. The hotel opens at 2 pm. The cost per bag is 5 Euros. We were thrilled to find this facility, as dragging bags around with us would have spoiled our day. The man and young lady running the hotel were really lovely. So very kind and helpful. We would highly recommend Hotel de Paris if you need to leave your bags for a few hours.

Nice little hotel in Saint Jean. Very close to restaurants and shops. Very pleasant reception and quick to check in and out. Bed was comfortable and as we had a rear facing room, absolute silence during the night. Nice stay.

The hotel is very calm and extremely clean. It is in the city centre. The personnel are very kind and helpful.

This is a really great hotel for the price, it has an excellent location just a 5 minute walk from the beach and all the bars and restaurants, parking is available near the train station which is opposite the hotel. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and there’s a great shower. This was our second stay here and we will return and recommend to others.

The location was good for the restaurants and shops. The noise in the streets could be heard in the room. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room

This is the second time we have stayed here, it’s a great location opposite the train station and 5 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms, good shower, lots of parking nearby. We highly recommend this hotel and will return.

I used the Indigo public car park that is near to the hotel. This car park gets very busy around midday and becomes full quickly. Check in was ok. We were early and we placed our bags in a cupboard with other guests bags. Only later did we discover that an umbrella had gone missing so be careful if you do this. The room was on the third floor and it was facing the back. It was small and the bed was not great. There is a small lift. There are also a set of spiral stairs. Breakfast was ok. The hotel is opposite the train station.

Great stay
One nighter…. Very well located. There was free parking very close by. We had a deluxe room, the bathroom was tiny but the room was big enough, comfy bed and nice linen…. perfect for an overnighter, close to everything. For the price point it was really good value and very clean. Lots of restaurants within a few minutes. You can hear the traffic if you are a light sleeper- we enjoyed the connection to the town personally and the middle of the night was quiet. And the place is worth a visit for sure….

We ordered Mussels as first dish but they were rotten so we refused to eat them. For second plate, we ate slithers and we felt sick next day suffering stomachache. Incredible!
