The spa experience is lovely, especially on cold rainy winter days when you are craving a dip in the ocean. This is a perfect escape in their indoor pool with heater ocean water and various jets that are great for decompressing. I only wish there was more facilities available such as food and water (or at least spa water!) so that it can be a place to spend even more time in.

The spa is magical. One can heat up in the huge steamy hammam, then walk out and take a dip in the ocean. I did this in winter and I absolutely loved it.

We stayed at the hotel during Christmas and we were delighted with the welcome we received and by the friendly atmosphere at the hotel. The Christmas brunch was excellent and the views of the bay from the restaurant are wonderful. A big thank you to all the team who made us very welcome. I hope we will be back this year!

Lovely Historic Hotel This is a majestic old (but updated) hotel with excellent service. They gave us a tour of the facility and explained all the available services. The whirlpool, sauna, and steam room were all included in the price of the room. They even upgraded our room to ocean view! What incredible service at an incredible hotel.

excellent staff! The front desk (Cami) welcomed us even though we were early for check-in. The Concierge (Julien) helped us with our luggage, dinner reservations and early morning travel arrangements to the airport. Merci!

Very correct apartment on the other hand state of cleanliness to be reviewed. stains on all the walls, the unwashed floor when we arrived, hairs and hairs stuck to the bathroom tiles. water pressure in the shower almost non-existent. Beyond that our stay went well overall.

Really enjoyed staying here, fantastic staff, very clean and comfortable and friendly. Easy access to the beach, beautifully laid out resort, not crowded, like so many places. Set in a tree lined park, with beautifully peaceful walkways. A ball alley which was great fun, fantastic.

An old mansion house turned into s hotel. More a guest house experience than hotel. Poor wine list with four red wines andcwhite wines - not quality wines. No restaurant even though they said there was - its just snacks like cheese board snd croquettes. Had to go to dinner out for s decent meal. 1 complimentary water when we were two people. All in all quite poor apart from an ok room with poor quality...

This was a lovely find, even though Biarritz was our main target visit. We required a easily accessible room and was offered a G/F garden room to the side of the main hotel. Disabled parking was right outside the entrance, which helped greatly. Room was very comfortable, clean and convenient. Very pleasant dining and breakfast facilities, along with a secluded pool area to relax.

Excellent hotel and the staff is outstanding, the guest is king( queen). Very nice room, superbe balcony, outstanding petit-dejeuner, service formidable. We come back every year, a la prochaine année !

Excellent location close to public transportation (bus, train etc), shopping and restaurants! Walkable distance to the beach, and nearby town Ciboure. No need for a car at all, we took buses to Bilbao, San Sebastián Spain. Little choice at the hotel breakfast (wish there were fresh fruit), but staff prepared scrambled or sunny side up eggs upon demand. Overall I will highly recommend this hotel.

This is a very mixed review. The staff seems overwhelmed and sometimes even borderline unpleasant. The cleanliness of the dining room leaves much to be desired. However, the food is excellent, and the chef is incredible; everything is truly well executed.

Saint-Jean-de-Luz is about a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute drive away, but parking there in the summer isn't easy. The hotel offers free parking and a secure bicycle storage area. The first room #16 was totally unacceptable with damp and mold settling around the vent. Not at all what we were expecting. After complaining we were upgraded to the largest room in the hotel which is what we thought we would get in the first place. The best part of the experience was meeting the chef, Olivier Lataste who created sumptuous meals for us.

They made a mistake and refused to pay a penny when I tried to negotiate a refund. It's also far from the airport.

Stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel for 2 nights. The location is fantastic as you have the beach to the right and restaurants on your doorstep. It was comfortable, clean and was perfect for my stay in Saint Jean de Luz. There are steps to the reception but I’m sure you could get help with your luggage if asked. There is a lift thereafter to the 2 upper floors. I’d definitely recommend this hotel...

Felt like I was in southern california. Probably the best part is the walk to the local point overlooking the bay and the city.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at the lounge here. We dropped by on a road trip and were very warmly welcomed. It is easy to park near reception. There are lovely views of the sea. Stayed here for 4 nights and it had a perfect location, close enough to walk into Saint Jean de Luz, but far enough away for sea and tranquility. The hotel is of a high standard, a little pricey but worth it. It has a fantastic infinity pool, and excellent restaurant on site. Breakfast is superb. Will certainly return.

This is the 5th time we've used this hotel for our Pyrenees cycling tour and we are as happy with it as our first tour 10 years ago. The location is perfect if you like quiet and great views. It's about a half-hour walk to St Jean, along a pretty path. They have solutions for cyclists and parking included.

Lovely location. Great gardens and swimming pool area. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bar staff in particular couldn’t do enough to help you. Nice cliff top walk down to St Jean de Luz. All in all, we had a very pleasant two night stay here. Could have stayed longer!

I am reviewing this hotel as a storage facility for our luggage, while on a couple of hours stop-over in beautiful St. Jean de Luz. On route to Biarritz airport we stopped over in St.Jean de Luz for a few hours with our luggage in tow. Hotel de Paris provides the only luggage storage facility in the area. The hotel opens at 2 pm. The cost per bag is 5 Euros. We were thrilled to find this facility...

This is a really great hotel for the price, it has an excellent location just a 5 minute walk from the beach and all the bars and restaurants, parking is available near the train station which is opposite the hotel. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and there’s a great shower. This was our second stay here and we will return and recommend to others.

This hotel was a gem of a place just a few min from the center of the old town and ten min from the beach. There are entrances on both sides of the building. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, nice old building (the floors do squeak) with a beautiful staircase and a gorgeous lounging space in the lobby, and a simple yet delicious breakfast buffet (Make sure you get the mini pain au chocolat...

As not many hotels offer one night bookings we booked this hotel. Good location and tight parking on site. We had to inch our SuV down very Slowly and my wife needed to direct me centimetres by centimetre up the ramp while locals were watching us morning entertainment. Friendly reception Rooms are dated, so is the hotel. Our rooms had mold by the window, the wallpaper was stained so was the flimsy...

As I said on check-in, this is a lovely old-fashioned family run hotel right on the beach. Reception manned 24/7, all staff helpful, friendly and efficient, free beach towels, nice breakfast, reliable wifi. Those in search of ultra-modern conveniences, who can't live without aircon or sleek contemporary decor, might not like it, but I loved it.

Lovely property, close to everything in the town- right next to the heart of everything and also right in front of the beach. Very kind and helpful staff all around. The room with sea view and terrace is totally worth it. Comfortable room and bed.

The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. The location was perfect and close to the beach, shopping and many eating options. The only things I didn't like was the security for their keys to the rooms. They weren't hidden away and they could accidentally be given to the wrong people. Wifi doesn't work on the 3rd floor but did work down in the lounge area.

We loved our stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff were exceptional, kind, helpful, customer and service focused - they were so lovely. The hotel is exceptionally well located, right on the beach, includes free parking and the rooms are perfect. Our bed was big, super comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. Very convenient for arrival by bus from Biarritz airport. Very friendly and helpful staff at Reception and everything you need is provided for a self-catered stay. The studio apartment we booked for 4 people comprised a sofa bed and bunk beds but we hadn’t anticipated a sofa bed! It was ok, just not super comfy for sleeping on for 5 nights. Air conditioning was a real blessing! Overall great value...

Good stay - be aware of the changing door code We had a fine stay. The location is very good. Staff is kind, but does not speak English very good. A bit annoying that the front door is locked in the middle of the day, and you have to use a code. The code changes every saturday, so if your stay extends over Saturday, remember to ask for a new code, you're not given this automatically, but must ask yourself...

Located in a peaceful location despite its proximity to the national highway. A warm welcome, clean and well-designed room. A little attention with the herbal teas/tea offered in the room. Restful and calm (Catering service not used)
