This is a gem of a place, tucked away but easily found. Well appointed, immaculately clean and welcoming. It was a great place to stay as a Brittany Ferries foot passenger before taking the ferry. Plenty of eateries and bars nearby but the breakfast was excellent. Two caveats. My room was on the top (5th) floor. Unless you are fit (I am) you should take the lift, which only holds one person at a time, as the stairs are very steep whatever floor you are on. Also you will need to ask about parking in advance as the hotel has only a few spaces for small cars. Would I book again? Unreservedly.

5/5 clean and proper. Folks that work there are nice. A little on the small side, but so worth it and a great price!!! I’d definitely come back again and recommend it to others!!

Gorgeous hotel in the centre of St Malo intra muros.
Our room was beautifully decorated and well appointed.
Great bar downstairs.

Émeilie & Juliette are friendly and welcoming! The hotel is spotless, with very comfortable beds, great pillows, and up-to-date bathrooms. The place felt homely and loved! The small terrace is an ideal spot for drinks and snacks, sheltered by high walls yet not oppressive. There is obviously a real passion to get things right; a glimpse at the products used in all areas shows care and consideration in what is purchased for guests to enjoy. A delightful place, we will return!

This hotel is cute. It's been recently renovated, it was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were able to explore the town from the doorstep but it was a corner or two away from the main strips of tourists. The rooms are very small, but for a short stay, it was perfect.

Location of the hotel is superb. Our room was efficiently laid out (apart from the very large TV). We had no trouble storing all our belongings, and the fan made it comfortable to sleep despite the heat and being in the attic. The rooms were charmingly decorated, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Many rooms are located next to the small one-person elevator. I would suggest a policy encouraging guests to use the elevator early in the morning only when stairs are not feasible, to minimize noise for other guests.

This is a sweet little hotel right in the center of St. Malo’s walled city. Warm staff and lovely breakfast. My room was small, but I prefer that. Great place!

This was our first time staying at this hotel in the 13 years we've been traveling to St. Malo. It is very pretty, and charming. There is a lovely terrace for drinks and snacks, the rooms have just been remodeled and the hotel reopened in April of this year. There is an elevator, however, there are 8 steps to climb to reach the elevator and there is only room for ONE person and a piece of luggage. The rooms are impeccably clean, nicely decorated, have very comfortable beds, a towel heater in the bathroom and a very nice walk in shower. Both the rooms and the bathroom are compact yet very useable. The breakfast was nice, grapefruit, apple, and multi flavored juices, breads, croissants, and cereal. Cheese, meat and fromage frais with fruit is offered daily. We missed not having orange juice and real yogurt, which would have made the breakfast more appealing to us. Juliette was especially kind and helpful to us. She ordered a taxi to travel to the train station and double checked on it the day it was needed. The hotel is located in "la place du poissonnier" which can be busy and noisy at times.
