Escale Oceania Saint-Malo in St. Malo

We booked two rooms, after visiting the rooms, we noticed one of the two that was given to us didn't meet our expectations and the quality we were guaranteed, since the shower had a curtain instead of glass, but they gladly changed the room on request, right in the following day.

Other than that, other downsides are the pillows which are small, and too soft, which can definitely cramp the neck for side sleeper, and often the bed sheets were stained or cut/holed.

One last downside I noted, is that during the night, there seemed to pop out a random vibration noise without any consistency, which made it very hard to sleep for me, since it would awaken me constantly.

There also wasn't a safe nor a small fridge or a boiler, but that may not be a guarantee everywhere.

Aside from these downsides, I have to say that overall the bed was pretty comfortable and the rooms seemed well organized just slightly too little, and the overall quality and cleanliness of the structure didn't disappoint, even when people brought in sand, the cleaning was spectacular. The hotel's location is right in front of the sea, giving a perfect view, and easily accessible from the front of the door. Though keep in mind that not all rooms have windows looking at them.

I have to say if you're looking for a quick stay and are on a budget trip, I would recommend it
