The staff was unfriendly, and there were problems with check-in. They demanded I show the credit card used to make the reservation.

The hotel is strategically located next to the ancient city gate. It is very close to the bus station in the city or to Mont Saint-Michel. There is a Carrefour supermarket 3 minutes away. The hotel front desk waiter is enthusiastic and patiently solves the problems raised by the guests. It feels like home. Although the hotel public area is old, the facilities in the room are good. The hotel charges are reasonable. It is not recommended to eat breakfast in the hotel. The variety is single, and the coffee is capsule coffee. I can't imagine that this is in France. Overall, the hotel is very cost-effective!

Location is perfect for someone who wants to explore St. Malo. Price/quality ratio is excellent.

A magnificent castle within a castle. A hotel full of character. The Michelin star restaurant was amazing and the service made me feel completely comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of choice and it was all great.

The room was new and nice, but have several issues. One of the bed lights did not work. The bathroom sink had problems. The sheets had stains.
The douche was amazing, a big plus. The service was responsive and very nice.

Such a great stay, top location, just 2 min away from the shore, being able to enjoy at any time a brisk walk and even discover how the tide occurs. One can only select from the amount of small souvenier shops or creperies.
