Hotel Le Tilbury in Porto-Vecchio

We've stayed at this hotel several times, and unfortunately, I have to say it's aged very poorly. Dirty carpets in the rooms and also in the common areas. Chairs with torn fabrics weren't replaced during our stay. Very dated furniture, strong stale smell, no shutters, just supposedly blackout curtains (I mean supposedly).
In short, next year we'll be moving to another location. For our visit to Porto Vecchio.

The hotel does not correspond at all to a 3 star. False evaluation or no longer up to date. **HOTEL** Decoration that is falling apart, wallpaper that is peeling off the wall, not well maintained, facade blackened by time, photos at the entrance so old that they are discolored. **Wifi** Very slow Wifi in the room and even worse on the balcony. **Parking** - Very small parking lot, not at all practical (impossible to turn around) but nevertheless 20€/day. **Swimming pool** - When we allow ourselves to move the deckchairs to have a little shade, we are told that we do not have the right to do so... Incomprehensible... **Breakfast** - Not everything is included in the price, eggs are counted as extra. - Long wait if we do not book the day before. **ROOM** **Balcony** - Sea view indicated in the description despite the fact that we took a room named "pool view", but in fact no, no sea view. According to the manager, this is totally normal. - Our balcony overlooks the pool, we are 30 cm from the deckchairs (no privacy). Pool users can easily see the entire room. - The chairs on the balcony are not comfortable at all. - French window opening onto the balcony very complicated to close, but according to the manager, it's fine. NO SOLUTION FOUND... **Cleanliness** Not at all adequate, there was hair in the bathroom and when you get out of the shower with wet feet, you realize how dirty the carpet is. **Bedding** No duvet, just a simple sheet. I am offered polyester blankets (which are certainly not washed at 90 °). I suggest another sheet instead, not possible the same evening but the next day, yes. - The mattress is so old that you can feel the springs. **Safe** The safe is the size of a shoe box and is not fixed. **Bathroom** - No hand towels. - Shower gel: one pod per person but too small for the body and hair (not enough for a woman with long hair). - Very small and not powerful hair dryer, you have to hold the button down. **Toilets** - No trash can in the toilets and only one bag for sanitary towels. - No toilet paper holder.

Dreadful hotel. Outdated decor and run down. Needs updating. Overpriced for what it is. Good location but not a nice experience to stay here. Rooms are really old fashioned and bathroom has plastic bath and very thin towels. Much better hotels in the area

No empathy from management following a family tragedy that forced us to book for 15 people in this establishment. Inflexible in responding to certain requests from us. The customer is above all a wallet.
