Hotel Lilium Maris in Propriano

Avoid this place!! SCAMMERS! I would give no stars if I could. arrived to the hotel at 20:00 and nobody was there from the staff! No one to check us in. Walked around, tried to get in. Nothing. and nobody picked up the phone either. Called 100 times, it sent me to automatic messages. Next day they charged full price on the credit card with message “we are open 24/7”. Scammers that charge you and don’t let you in.

This is not a 4* hotel. Really run down. We've got a room with sea view as in reservation, but the room looks more like a closet. The receptionist told us that not all rooms in same category (privilege plus) look the same. However, the one in the photos have big windows, real views. Ours looks really sad :(.

Bad wifi, does not work in the hotel. Ventilation/air conditioning does not work. There was no shower curtain/glass so the whole bathroom got wet. There was a birds nest above our balcony which meant that our balcony was covered with bird poo. The staff cleaned the glass railing with a hose meaning everyone walking under it got wet. Have to wait long at reception. The hotel is very run down. DO NOT STAY HERE

This place was horrible. It says it is a four star hotel, it actually hardly has one. It was a huge disappointment; the wifi did not work, the terrace of one of the two rooms we had was dirty(cigarettes​ and plastic cups), the doors of both rooms couldnt open fully, the extra blankets smelled like piss and had lumps of hair on them and finally the lady at the reception is awfully unkind.

The "golf hotel" just futher down in the beautiful village is a way more "Corsican" with a better view, better room and among everything a better service ;-) good to keep that in mind!
