We’ve been lucky enough over the years to stay in many lovey hotels … without a doubt the staff here are fantastic and exceed levels of service anywhere else we have stayed … why do I say that? Consistently whether at the front door, at reception, housekeeping or in the restaurants, and also in the ski rental facility … without fail, we were greeted with a warm, friendly, helpful and genuine greeting … the level of service throughout our stay was second to none… a very special mention to the super lovely shuttle van driver who helped me navigate my way as a non skier to Piclet Gondola … super kind and helpful. We very much hope to return and next time I hope to be skiing. Thanks to all the staff for a simply fabulous stay!!

This is a wonderful hotel located right on the snow. From the moment I arrived the service I received throughout the hotel was fantastic. I was thrilled to receive an upgrade overlooking the slopes. The facilities with a good size heated pool which has 4 hot tub like jets coming out of the wall at different levels so you can massage your feet your thighs your lower back & upper back. Actually better than a hot tub. There is also a sauna & a steam room (Humum). Robes & slippers are supplied in your room for the pool area. Breakfast offers a wide variety. Again the staff in the breakfast area were so nice and polite. The room whilst not huge, was very nice & spotlessly cleaned daily. This hotel is definitely ski in-ski out. You get your own secure ski locker which is operated by your room card. The lockers are heated so your ski gear is dry the next morning. Once you’re set to Ski, you simply walk out the automatic door and take about 20 steps and you’re skiing - reverse the process on the way home. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful. Special mention to Louis in the bar area as well Reception area Charlotte, Leah & Axel. Thanks I had a fantastic 2 weeks stay at your hotel 😁

It’s a while since I’ve been inspired to write a hotel review but the Hotel Val Thorens deserves one. It’s a great hotel in a wonderful location but it’s the staff that really make it stand out. From the very warm welcome to the friendly departure and every interaction in between the staff were amazing. Always friendly, smiling and wanting to help. The location is excellent with the ski room opening onto the slopes. Ski away from the hotel in the morning, ski down to the hotel at the end of the day. There’s a great rental shop by reception if you need gear. The food options are very good. Half board gives you the option of the main restaurant or La Fondue restaurant (which also does great burgers) There is also the option of eating in the neighbouring Fitz Roy hotel for a small supplement. The bar faces onto the slopes and is a popular spot for a drink after skiing complete with a DJ. The spa area has a nice pool, steam room and sauna. I hope to return soon.

Right in the village of Val Thorens ski in ski out totally renovated with very nice guestrooms. Guestrooms with balcony and nice views, bathrooms with bathtub and organic toiletries. Nice heating, lcd, wifi and beds. Breakfast is a full service breakfast with fresh orange juice, fresh fruits and eggs to your preference. Indoor ski lockers, pool and spa, restaurant, bar and terrace. The staff is very young and nice but lacking service speed. At lunch a lounge dj keeps a good vibe!

We enjoyed our 1 week stay at Le Val Thorens. The hotel is located very conveniently, close to shops and ski in/out. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Included in half-board we had the choice to dine at either the brasserie or La Fondue, both restaurants offering delicious choices. We also dined at Fitz Roy for a small supplement, which was well worth it! Only downside was the breakfast which has very limited options. A little more variety would be highly appreciated.

The hotel is in an amazing location in the centre of Val Thorens, ski to door and great atmosphere both inside and out. My room was very spacious and has a enormous balcony with view across the VT valley. Both the dinner and breakfast were excellent, the had board offering was expansive. I would highly recommend and will certainly be back.

We had a beautiful bedroom overlooking the piste with shared balcony which was never used by other guests. Bed was huge & very comfortable with lots of pillows. We were half board & the breakfast was wonderful, all you could want & for dinner we had a choice of 2 restaurants. La Fondue was authentic Savoyard food & a fun ambience. Main restaurant had a fantastic choice of food & wine list. A lovely bar area overlooking the piste with great comfy chairs. What makes this Hotel a 5 star for us is the staff. They are young professional people all willing to help with great enthusiasm & friendliness. The spa with piste view is amazing as it featured a warm pool with 4 powerful jets that all hit the spot; just what you need after day on the amazing slopes. It also has a hamman & sauna. The very well equipped ski shop is in the hotel too. Truly a ski in ski out hotel, right onto the slopes. Will most definitely return....

We have been at HVT hotel for a week of Ski, the room is standard size ( not big), but very clean and the hotel decoration is very unique and modern. The location is perfect for Ski In / Ski Out, also very close to village center. The price per night is make sense and the value for the money is good. The spa was good, during the vacation the hotel closed the spa for maintaining and gave us option to go to nearby spa, next hotel 50m. The reception guy Julian was one of a kind, and we really like his support. We had a small incident with reception that our breakfast in a box for take away due Robert early checkout forgotten, but beside that all was good and we recommend this hotel to our friends.
