Park Hotel - MGallery Collection

I stayed at the Park Hotel in Grenoble, part of the MGallery Collection by Accor, and overall, it was an enjoyable and stylish experience, though not quite at the level of some other MGallery properties I’ve visited. The hotel is well located, directly opposite the lovely Parc Paul Mistral, which offers great views and a peaceful setting. The nearby tram stop makes it easy to reach the train station and explore the rest of the city. The Perret Tower in the park adds to the scenery and gives a real sense of place. The hotel’s interior has a plush, traditional feel. The lobby retains its historic charm with elegant furnishings and a refined atmosphere. The lounge bar is especially pleasant, with chic wood paneling and an open wine display that gives the space a modern touch without losing its warmth. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. My room was nicely decorated, striking a good balance between comfort and style. It had a large, comfortable bed, a seating area with a sofa and armchair, and a mini bar with a Nespresso machine. The dressing area provided plenty of storage space, which was a useful addition. The bathroom included both a tub and a walk-in shower. While that setup was convenient, the shower leaked water across the bathroom floor, which was frustrating and something other guests seem to have experienced as well. Housekeeping missed my room on both of the days, which was a surprise given the standard the hotel aims for. However I only left in the mornings 9am - 2pm. During my stay, Grenoble was experiencing an unseasonably hot weekend, with temperatures reaching the high 20s in April. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not yet switched on, as it’s only operational during the summer months. When I asked about it, I was told this was normal, but it did make the room uncomfortable at times. It’s worth checking ahead if you’re visiting in spring or early autumn. One big positive was the Wi-Fi, which was excellent, with speeds around 300 Mbps. This made working and streaming effortless. In summary, the hotel is elegant, well located, and supported by a kind and professional team. It has a lot of charm and was a pleasant place to stay. While it may not quite reach the level of some other MGallery hotels in terms of polish, it’s still a solid option. If the rate is good and you check in advance about the air conditioning, I’d be happy to return.

I really like this hotel, located opposite the Olympic Park and its famous Tower. Situated a short distance and walking distance from the shopping streets of the city center, it enjoys a noticeable calm and this beautiful green area for jogging or morning ventilation. In the midst of the Covid19 crisis, the hotel remains open at least 5 days a week for demanding business clients. Low prices allow as many people as possible to stay in a 4-star hotel. Undercover room service is much more than just emergency service. I return there on every trip to Grenoble.

Very cozy room, very clean. Good hotel near the city center. Weak point: bar service last night, not up to this category of hotel. Maybe the waiter should reconsider a few ways of receiving customers ... After the first drink I went into town for dinner ... ... or in a simple bar I got better service ...

A step back in time with a 1930s ambience. Lots of wood panelling. Dial telephone in the elevator. Friendly staff. Breakfast was basic, but good quality. Location excellent for the football, in a good neighbourhood with quick access to the city centre, which is within walking distance. Fridge in room, but only water available in minibar. Quiet despite the busy roads outside. Secure parking in nearby Q-Park Chauvin garage, about 3 minutes walk - the hotel can offer a discounted rate better than that available at the garage or when booking in advance via the Q-Park website. Nice lounge/bar area.

Lovely upscale hotel directly across from a beautiful park. The kitchen is very good as has high quality offerings at a very decent price.

Beautiful hotel near park in Grenoble within walking distance of old center - very nice and amazing beds and shower!!

The sanitary ware is very dry and the environment is very quiet
