The hotel is located, 25 min on foot from the strict city center ( around 4-5 tram stations). Could have been a bit cleaner.
Not sure why this structure would deserve the 3 stars. The rooms are clean enough, however: - Super thin walls and doors, you can hear everything that goes on outside and in the neighboring rooms. Luckily I had earplugs. - There was a bad smell in the bathroom, probably the sink wasn't property cleaned as it was also partially clogged. - Breakfast was a let down, basically just some toast, ham,...
The hotel requires several passcode to enter various gates, and they change the passcodes on different days. It is quite inconvenient for customers to bring along the passcode sheet and see which gate requires which passcode on which day. And the attendants did not clean our room as requested.
Nice and clean room but WiFi in bedroom is really bad and dogs bark throughout the night (guess that depends if you’re unlucky with guests/their dog).
Great hotel in a quiet neighbourhood of Bordeaux. Close to the centre and train station. Would recommend
Stayed for a week to attend a conference, room 124. The reception was nice and helpful. The room was large, clean and cleaned daily. The location is quite good: the bus is very close, tram B is not far. The city center is in walkable distance. There's some shops and restaurants around. I have nothing to complain about. If I come back to Bordeaux, I'll stay here again.

The staff were efficient, very friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was okay but not high pressured. Unfortunately there was no kettle and no tea and coffee supplies in the room. Sadly missed. Also there were no information leaflets in the room eg. meal times, menus, facilities available etc.
Room is good, bathroom is a bit too small with no toiletries. Most shocking no water at all except for a dispenser in the lobby. The heat in Bordeaux is very strong so the hotel should consider the hydration of their guests. Water is cheap to provide.
Got there from an overseas flights and took a shower early afternoon. Asked for additional towels as only 2 were in the room for a double occupancy. Went downstairs to ask for more for a later shower and was given attitude for daring asking for additional towels. This is supposedly the higher end of ibis hotels chain. 1/2 coffee machines were not operating as always needed to be fixed by the staff...
Our stay was great!! The location was really good, a nice walkable area with nearby bus & tram stops. A couple stops away or a simple walk away will get you into the city centre which was great. The rooms, bathroom & all amenities were very clean and matched images. I was struggling to figure out how to use the tv's chromecast but the staff responded very quickly & helped me with that which I appreciated...
Will Stay Again. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was very good, better than we anticipated. Great location for transport as tram just 100 meters up the road. Bathroom a little awkward but does the job. Room clean. Will definitely use this hotel again.
A little gem. After reading some reviews on this hotel I wondered what I had booked. Our stay was excellent, staff were helpful and personable and could speak English, which is always a bonus. The room was clean, well looked after and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental buffet style eat as much or as little as you wanted, with plenty of tea, coffee and fresh fruit drinks. They only thing that...

4 days into a 10 day stay in Bordeaux at the Quality Hotel. A wonderful place to stay in the center of the Bordeaux scene. There is no reason to try anywhere else.We love it here. Staff cleanliness and comfort all 5 star
Very centrally located. Amazing breakfast, soft beds, moderate noise in the room and some maintainance needed.
Honestly loved this hotel, the bed was soft and comfy, the room was small but not too small, I had room for my luggage and everything. Location was perfect right by the longest pedestrian shopping street in Europe and the highlight, they have glass water bottles for you to fill up in the lobby with filtered water or sparkling water to take to your room
Location is terrific. Right on a walking street in a busy part of town. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Front desk staff were amazing.
Warm, helpful and knowledgeable staff especially the front desk ladies. I had a wonderful stay and it’s in the heart of Bordeaux, easy access to the wineries, café’s, restaurants and bars. There is a small hotel bar with delicious cocktails, water station in the lobby and coffee in your room. Thank you so much, great job to the team!! Merci!
The room was OK. It rained during our stay, and the first room we were given had a strong odor. It was fine after we changed the room, but the air conditioner didn't work, and the room was quite cold. The bathroom heater didn't heat the room the next day. When checking in, we had to show our credit card, but we just touched the card and didn't know what it was for. Nothing else.

Heliose at the reception was extremely helpful with a room change, a hair salon suggestion and info about transportation!!
Everything was amazing. Small boutique hotel in quite literally the edge of the center of everything. A block from the Intercontinental and Opera house which is where everything begins. Their website is quite humble because the rooms are amazing and spacious. I don’t think I would stay anywhere else when we come back. The one thing I would recommend is go out for breakfast as there are a ton of...
The location is fantastic! Just a few minutes to the main train station for getting to and from destinations like the airport or Cite du Vin. It’s only a few minutes to get to all the shopping and restaurants. Their service was excellent! The desk staff were very helpful. The bar and kitchen staff were superb. The room was large, clean, and cute.
The room was beautiful and the staff was great! The front desk was always helpful and we got great service from the bartender, Ilhan. The room was spacious and beautiful
The bedrooms are generous in size and well-decorated. Bathrooms lack hair conditioner, make-up mirrors and are poorly lit. Towel warmer didn't work. The bathroom floor was very slippery when wet. The waitstaff were friendly and very accommodating. The front desk staff couldn't be bothered. Food was good, but not noteworthy.
This hotel has been remodeled to a very modern facility. The room was well decorated and the bath area was very large offering both a shower and bath. It seemed to me the bathroom floor was heated. It had a small patio with a view of the top of the large fountain in the park. Location in the central area was great. Well worth the visit.

Nice location near lake, easy parking, short walk to tram station for excellent route into bordeaux town centre
Highly recommended What a beautiful hotel, such a complete surprise to see the gorgeous interior decoration. The restaurant is worth a visit just to sit back and look at all the quirky fixtures, the wallpaper on the columns is fantastic, the food served was just as good. The bedroom was lovely, a lovely comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel completely met our expectations. Family room was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good.
Great stay We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is right opposite the lake, which is nice for walks, and there is a beach area. We had a hire car (parking was 8 euros a night) but if we hadn't, the tram line was close by. We had a studio room with a small kitchen area, which meant we could self-cater if we wanted - the fridge was really handy. The pool area was a nice addition but very small...
Sadly lake park surrounds were shut when we arrived and the hotel restaurant was also closed. Local La Ferme restaurant very busy. Book in advance. However hotel reception very friendly.
A nice place Clean and comfortable but requires a tram ride from downtown and a10 minute walk to reach.

Classic 3 star. Great location if working at the fair.
Perfect hotel to rewind and stay the night while on a long car journey.
Excellent hotel and location. Near the main routes. Use this hotel all the time
Annoying fire alarm around midnight turned out to be caused by a burnt steak.
We woke up late and missed breakfast. We asked the lady serving breakfast if it was too late and she kindly prepared us a breakfast just for us. She was so friendly and helpful. Her service was above and beyond and we can't thank her enough. Réception was also very friendly. Id recommend this hotel purely for the servive. Only negative was the air con in the room which was 26c all night.

Rooms were lovely. Bathrooms were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious but very expensive. Staff very nice. Location a little off the beaten path so it was nice and quiet. 10+ minute walk to get to good streets and transit but overall an easy walk. Very safe.
We can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable from arrival, to parking our car, to helping us make winery and restaurant reservations, to making us comfortable and making suggestions. Very good location! Close to nice restaurants/Bistros and cafe’s.Friendly staff, clean room👍We walked every where, but the trams are very close! Close to meeting points when taking tours to the vineyards😃
It was almost 770 euros for 3 nights, the most expensive stay in our Europe trip. Nothing special. The room was unexpectedly small. But it was tidy and comfortable.
It's located right next to the tourist information center, so it's in a great location. It's also close to a tram station, so it's very convenient for sightseeing. The exterior was modest, but I was excited by the French-style staircase and rooms. There is an elevator, but you have to climb about three flights of stairs to get to some places. It was one of my better experiences. The rooms were spacious compared to what I’m usually used to when traveling in France. The room was fresh and the beds were very comfortable. We were a group of 24 tourists and Hotel Konti was the perfect place to stay. Evgenia and all the team were very accommodating, arranging a taxi to collect our luggage from the airport so we could head straight to a rugby game :) The rooms were excellent quality as was the breakfast, and the location is second to none, right in the heart of beautiful Bordeaux. Merçi!
I never leave reviews but had to leave one for this hotel. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bordeaux and you usually spend a lot of time searching for just the right place when traveling on your dime and for pleasure, really don't look any further. For me, this was the perfect location in the 'golden triangle' of Bordeaux. It's central, but quiet. Easy to feel in a local neighbourhood while being also in the heart of the city. The hotel team are kind and courteous. The breakfast is very good and the rooms, even the cosy smaller ones, are well appointed. Importantly, the beds are very comfortable. Would recommend!
Convenient location in the centre of Bordeaux. Comfortable room with good air con. Excellent staff who were all very friendly and helpful, always checking everything was ok with my stay and also providing useful recommendations for restaurants/cafes.

Great place to stay-only minutes from town center.
Great location, easy to walk to see everything. Secure parking. Clean spacious rooms and great shower. Helpful reception team.
Great location in Bordeaux close to the tram stop (Les Hangars) and close to the quay Hotel is lovely, breakfast was great, andt he parking on site is great. 9/10 overall.
Very nice, clean, spacious rooms. Close to the tram, which you need because the dining, shopping and nightlife options are four stops away…city center. The tram gets you there in about six minutes. A tram ticket for the week is $17. Daily tickets are a bad bargain. Precious little around the hotel itself, except Citè du vin
This property had every amenity imaginable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
Designerhotel on the riverside and next to the Cite du vin. Tram station in front of the hotel. I guess the hotel was 4* some years ago, as the design is really nice. But you can see, that no „love“ / renovation is done to the hotel. Our kids were in room 310 and the room was smelling like the drain in the street, mold on the joints and towels with brown stains. The hotel is nice, living in an historic building of the university of Bordeaux. Just not recommended for friends to stay as the shower room is too open and too many mirrors inside the room.
Fantastic stay! Very close to the train station (8 min walk) but not so close it's noisy. Walking distance to capucin market (5 min walk) and city center (10-15 min walk). Clean and really funky room. Everything was there that we needed. Beautiful design of the hotel and facilities like spa and hot tub. Really enjoyed our stay!!!
The rooms in the zoologie wing were massive as they were in the old historical building. It had bare brick walls, tall ceilings and large windows. During the booking process, it wasn't mentioned that parking was paid, and it wasn't indicated. The reception and breakfast were very good. There was no air conditioning in the room, so it was too hot. A bit small for the price.
There were three of us; the third bed (bunk bed) needed making, and we found hair. The bathroom was tiny. It's a two-star hotel, and the price is low, but it could use some cleanliness and space. The location, however, is excellent, very close to the center.
The room is narrow, but clean, modern plumbing, comfortable bed. Excellent location. One or two nights will be ideal for those who want to save money and live practically in the center of Bordeaux.
1. The location is right for a tourist - quite far from the train station - and very close to the center, there is a tram stop nearby, which can replace all transport in Bordeaux. I took a 72-hour transport card - it was advantageous, because with a suitcase to the hotel and from the hotel to the train station on foot is 25-30 minutes, and just around the city you can always go 1-2 stops without worrying...
Very good location. Comfortable bed. The worst thing is that the rooms are too small.
Never again. The distance from the bed to the wall is 30 cm, the distance from the bed to the table is 30 cm, the distance from the bed to the TV is 30 cm - you walk around the bed sideways, despite the fact that I am very slim. The room was ok. A little small.
The room was nice, with all the facilities you need, plenty of hot water, clean, tidy and quiet. The hotel is not far from the tram station and there is a good restaurant behind the hotel.
There are many hotels around the hotel. The room is relatively large, clean and comfortable. The parking lot is large. There is a good French restaurant next to it. The pork knuckle and sausage are delicious.
It's a little less than a 10-minute walk from the nearest tram station, so it's a bit difficult to walk with a suitcase. The hotel building itself is old, but it seems to have been renovated in 2023, and the interior was very nice and clean. The front desk staff were also polite.

The Mercure hotel is very cozy, and the staff is extremely kind and attentive. The hotel’s theme is centered around writers: each room is named after a different author, and inside the room you can read a short biography about them. Nice hotel with a swimming pool conveniently located on the outskirts of Bordeaux and not far from the motorway, clean, nice breakfast, easy onsite parking outside hotel, allows dogs.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our family's stopover. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-located, perfect for a stopover. The double bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. The only minor issue was the sofa bed mattress, which wasn't comfortable, but otherwise, the overall experience was very positive.

No frills but fine! The room was clean and functional. The staff refused to make up the second bed I'm the room though which was very strange. Even when I asked about it I was told to do it myself. Other than that it was fine.
In general it is a good place! But the only two issues: The morning I was leaving, the bathroom ran out of water. Fortunely it was my checkout day. The other one is regarding a gym that is next to the hotel. In the case of my bedroom (121), I could hear the gym music late at night and in the early morning.
Good value Great location to walk into Bordeaux Centre. Very clean, friendly staff and good value. The only piece of advice is the parking, you pay on exit, i spent ages trying to work the machine at the top of the lift which didnt accept my cards.
