Bordeaux, 57 Rue Huguerie (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed at Maison du Lierre for one night during a long weekend in Bordeaux and I can honestly say that I could not fault it one bit. As soon as we stepped in the door we were transported to a haven of tranquility and relaxation. It is very 'White Company-esque' which created a luxurious feel to the hotel. I absolutely loved the interior and the theme of hats which were dotted around the hotel. The...
I had a lovely room with balcony. Bright and spacious. Number 14. Everything is very tastefull styled and of high quality. I slept very well. In the morning a fresh breakfast in the garden; what could you wish more for?. For solo travellers: A lot of art and design magazins in the common room. Friendly and helpfull ladies at the receptiondesk.
A boutique hotel in the very heart of Bordeaux, with great amenities and customer service. Even though there is no lift, the staff has no problems helping you with the luggage. The car parking arrangement worked great.
Pleasant centrally located small hotel. room comfortable; fresh brioche, croissants, lots more at breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Note there is no elevator, but we were able to manage the 70-step staircase up to our room with no problem. Staff cheerfully helped with our bags upon arrival and departure.
A charming hotel within a few minutes walk to the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable and pleasantly quiet at night. We stayed on the top (3rd) floor which was fine for us but there is no lift (as was made clear when we booked) which could be a challenge for some. The breakfast on the terrace was fabulous and all the staff went out of there way to be helpful.
Beautiful decor, extremely helpful and friendly staff, great value breakfast in the morning with chilled jazz in the morning, cheap drinks available on the terrace, comfy good size bed

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it. The rooms were fairly quiet, clean and basic with ok beds, but the location was very good!
Nice clean rooms, perfect location in the centre of Bordeaux, friendly English speaking owners, even a hairdryer was in the bathroom, which is unusual for a 2 star hotel. Prefer to have breakfast outside.
The hotel is really clean and is in a great location, the rooms are small but cosy. The hotel staff were very friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast, the croissants were really nice. The hotel is near some great locations and is very well situated - would happily return here.
The first thing you should know is that there is no lift and whilst there are only 2 floors of rooms and a breakfast room floor, there are a lot of windy stairs. If you don't mind that and you're not staying long, this hotel is adequate. It's location is its biggest selling point. In a side street Close to good shopping and restaurants, theatre and not too far to walk to place de la bourse and the...
Two day visit, pretty basic hotel but comfortable & all amenities worked & worked well. Decent €8 breakfast. Centrally located, easy access to the airport & cultural centre of the city. No lift so it's a slog if you're on the upper levels, a minor niggle for me, might be more important for others.
Concierge and staff were incredible. Room is is quite small but bigger bathroom. It is a nice boutique hotel. No lift so if traveling heavy keep that in mind. We’d stay again if passing through

Great location with great potential. Although the team was nice and welcoming, the reality doesn't match with the pictures online. The room not really cleaned, the bathroom with strong smell of humidity and sewer. The carpet in the room wasn't in the best shape, as well as the chair (dirty, never been cleaned!) I found a couple hairs in my bed, but I managed to remove them. Overall, it was a good place...
Room was very small. Bathroom and toilet room were separate and tiny. Air conditioning unit was noisy. Best feature was the location. Close to many restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping.
This is a great place stay while visiting the old town ofBordeaux. Very good service, comfortable bed, conditioner. We booked last minute, so there were no more place available at the hotel, but we parked a cat at the public underground Q-park nearby. The owner gave us excellent recommendations for siteseeing and places to eat. We liked this hotel a lot!
Musty smell in the lobby sitting area it needs ventilation and the rooms too. The bathroom didn’t have good ventilation and felt very humid in the room. I was in the front building and the room had an old carpet with stains. A hole on the wall too. My friends had a room in the backside with tiled floors but on the ground floor so the musty smell was very strong. No soundproofing in the bathrooms. Lots...
Lovely little boutique hotel in the centre of Bordeaux. The breakfast was excellent and the charming lady at breakfast (sorry I forgot your name) made us feel welcome and was so friendly. The room was roomy and immaculately clean. Perfect location to explore Bordeaux and in a quiet side street.
Stayed here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago on a trip through the city. The room was exactly what we needed - clean, well put together, very comfy bed, and comfortable private bathroom. We found the staff to be very kind and accommodating, and the location was nicely off the beaten path, but very close to the main center of town. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, 10/10 stay!

The room was clean. Comfortable bed. No frills. No hair dryer. No water.... Small thin towels... No info received how to get in. Did not respond to any emails. Arrived at 22.30. Phoned number on door and was given perfect directions of how to get in. Excellent location. Excellent value but it is a bed to sleep in and provides a roof. Nothing else
It was affordable and perfect location. However we were on the top floor so there was 84 stairs to get to our room. The room was small which we expected but there wasnt even room on either side of the bed to get in or out. We had to crawl to the end of the bed to access it. Very very very tiny. We did however see bigger rooms on our way out when the maid was cleaning. We would stay again for location...
Great location, central in Bordeaux No reception and check-in code did not work and several guests had the same issue. Staff on the phone not very good at English, but friendly enough. Automatic checkin counter is very slow (up to a few minutes to find reservation). However, when checked in it is nice and easy with the door code. Be mindful there is no cleaning and there are steep stairs up to the...
This hotel is really great! The room is clean and comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the service staff is warm and thoughtful. The location is excellent and there are many attractions around. I will choose this hotel again on my next trip!
The location is superb, hotel staffs are super helpful. The room condition and facilities can be better, but for the price and location, plus the friendliness of the hotel concierge, it’s a good choice.

Complimentary tea or coffee would be nice. Other hotels had coffee and tea in the room. The staff was really exceptional and the rooms were always cleaned every day. However, there seemed to be an issue with the plumbing in the shower. The water was not draining properly.
Highs and lows at Villa Victor Louis. Very charming villa in a quiet neighborhood in Bordeaux. The receptionist was very helpful, she offered to handle our reservation for a nearby parking when we arrived. Also recommended parking in the street since it was free on weekends. Breakfast is more on the simple side, missing warm dishes. On another note, we were in room “Odilon Redon 5”, the room was comfortable...
Villa Victor Louis is authentic in my opinion and I liked staying there however keep in mind that there’s no elevator and we got a room in the attic which is I believe 6th floor so it was a bit of stairs climb. However the room was very cute, the bed comfortable and I liked that windows could be fully open. The location is pretty convenient- it’s 5 min walk to the bus and 15 to the train. We took a...
It was an incredible stay—it’s like sleeping in a museum. The owners took care of every single detail to make you feel this amazing atmosphere. They’re the kindest and most friendly people, and they treat you like you’re at home. As for comfort, it’s 100% everything is impeccable and simply beautiful. We loved having breakfast on their gorgeous terrace, always with ambient and elegant music. Thank...
Although the property is very cool-architecturally, the inside needs some updating. Carpet is dirty and painting chipped. Stairs are narrow and steep with no lift, so bringing luggage up flights of stairs is a bit of a burden. The gals in lobby are sweet and nice, but limited on what they are able to do. Also, there is a 4 Euro charge for coffee or tea which was not communicated until checkout.
Charming hotel Syper friendly staff, 5* ! Authentic beautiful building with garden Close to the center and public transport We missed coffee and tea, good internet (upper floor) and maybe a smart tv.

What an amazing place to stay in Bordeaux . We spent a wonderful week at Patricia and Christophe's beautiful La Maison Bastide on the right bank (rîve droite). Very calm and quiet neighbourhood , it's a short walk accross Pont de Pierre to the heart of Bordeaux, tram nearby and transport is very good value - far cheaper than Ìreland, as is eating out. Ann, who welcomed us initially, was lovely and...
Faithful, quiet relaxing place to stay. Proximity to tram line made it easy to get into old town, however we chose to walk as very easy to get around. Patricia greeted us and gave us instructions for around town and notable things to see. Coffee awaited us on arrival and Christophe kindly drove us to the station on our departure due to early morning train and it being a weekend. Extremely kind, considerate...
We were so happy to have chosen to stay at Maison Bastide. Patricia gave us such a warm welcome and spent time explaining the sights, restaurants etc. with a local map. Amazing smell of jasmin everywhere growing...
An excellent room, small but perfect for the two of us, with kitchen. Very accommodating host who greeted us upon arrival even though we arrived very late at night. Excellent accommodations a couple blocks away from old town or an easy tram ride depending how far you want to go. The manager was immensely friendly and helpful. The stairs, though, no lift, are almost vertical! Still 5 stars.
The level of hospitality and warmth from the proprietor and his son is such a rarity. We felt so welcome and well looked after. Would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Bordeaux. Location is excellent.
Wonderful and great location Lovely boutique hotel, amazing staff, small but very comfortable room and great AC. 10/10 would recommend.

A most charming place, ideally situated with "everything" in Bordeaux withing walking distance. The house is built in the 18th centuary and quite picturesque. Excellent boutique hotel in the perfect location in Honfleur, attention to every detail, great customer service. Beautifully appointed spacious rooms, delightful breakfast. I wish we could stay for 4-5 days there to appreciate both the hotel and the beautiful city.
Wonderful time! Fabrice was an amazing host, making sure we felt welcome and providing helpful recommendations and advice to get around town. Our room was spacious and clean and the overall experience of staying in a historical building was amazing! Would stay here again!
We stayed in the Palais Royals room and loved it! It was beautifully updated and the entire property was well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Fabrice was a lovely host and we will definitely recommend to friends.

It was a pretty good accommodation experience. I had a lot of fun outing. The room was very clean and the staff was very enthusiastic. The breakfast there was also very good. I was very satisfied with the overall effect. The surrounding environment is also very good.
It's pretty good with a big bed.
We really liked the possibility of leaving the car in the free car park in the area that closes at night and getting around from there by public transport. To be honest I didn't know Adagio, but it was a great surprise! Perfect location in order to get to the city center by walking. Spacious and clean room and comfortable bed. At the reception people were kind and helpful and I much appreciated it. I would suggest it for sure for your stay in Bordeaux!
Bright studio apartment with no overlooking neighbors. Separate toilet. Separate shower and bathtub. Small kitchenette. It would have been nice to have coffee pods.
Very well located and good facilities.
The location is good, in the city center. Although it's an apartment-style hotel, the dishes in the cupboards were poorly clean, and there was even an unpleasant odor coming from the cupboards – a real shame!
The hotel is well located, a 10-15 minute walk from the main attractions. The facilities are clean but a bit run-down.
Your go-to hotel in Bordeaux This is a delightful hotel in a great position - close to the action, but just far enough away to be quiet. And handy to the bus stop for the station. The reception was efficient, professional and welcoming and the room super-stylish. The bathroom has a light-up mirror, which you don't see every day. Loved that. Thoroughly recommend

Nice place to enjoy Bassins. It was great. We enjoyed our stay. I can’t appreciate the breakfast, but it’s the same at every B&B. Other than that, B&B is perfect.

Paul R. from concierge was amazing. He planned our upscale trip to Medoc region and also scrambled to set up a great day for us in St. Emillion. We could not have done it without him. We highly recommend this hotel for their customer service and location.
Splendid hotel and well located in old city. The staff were exceptional. Always very friendly and helpful. The English concierge ( who spoke fluent French ) gave us some great tips on nearby restaurants and recommended a wonderful wine tour to the left and right bank which was so informative and personal. Money well spent !! I would highly recommend this hotel in such a vibrant and beautiful city....
Overall the stay was great! Bed was comfortable and the accommodations were great for a hotel in the city. I didn’t rate it 5 stars because the front desk knew that we were parking but didn’t give us the pass to park so we had to paid full price. BUT they did help by comping the next days parking and gave us food recommendations in St Emillion.
The staff in all areas were very attentive. Our room was interesting with a large tub taking up much of the floor space but other than that fantastic. Everything was clean. Comfortable and relaxing stay. Rooms have a decent size, beds comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpfully
Cheap overnight stay with dogs Cheap place to stay just around the main drag of Bordeaux. Really an over night stop, not much around for food/drink so be prepared to drive or UBER eats delivery. Basic and cheap but clean and the young man who was sometimes at the desk (not manned 24/7) was friendly and helpful.
Very clean room. We highly recommend it. Very good value for money.
Not a good service We received our room outside hand soap and towels. We didn’t had hand towels or face towels we were 4 and didn’t have enough towels. Nice location, clean and well located right next to Cité du vin. Parking spots nearby are free although not always available. There is a parking garage next to it not too expensive. Hotel rooms are large and with a well equipped kitchenette. It’s A bit outdated but it has been perfect for the price and what we needed.
Location is good, just a short tram ride from the downtown core, and an easy walk from the tram stop. Service was great at the hotel as well, and the rooms were fine...except that it smelled bad from time to time and the shower was not properly angled, and water went all over the floor when you used it. Hard to recommend given these issues.
Good evening. Even if the place is pleasant; It should be noted that it is very difficult to park, the work on rue de Gironde is not helping matters in terms of traffic. Small complaints: strong odors from pipes in the room throughout our stay, the breakfast tables were not cleaned when we went to the restaurant. Finally to close this chapter, our room card had not been scheduled for our second night...
Basically satisfied, the space is relatively large and close to the wine museum.
I used this hotel for the second time...I used it to rest because in Bordeaux I am on the middle of my travel and this hotel is a really great solution in terms of quality price. Really have the perfect features for me and my family. Probably was not my last stay in here!
