I got exactly what I expected, a no frills standard Ibis. Rooms were compact but comfortable. Cleanliness was good. Car parking was a bit of a challenge as the spaces are limited. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about either.

This hotel is well situated for visiting Pau and has good parking. However the rooms are much smaller than the usual Ibis rooms so I wouldn’t want to stay for more than one night. The sink is in the room as the bathroom is so small. That said the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, though the staff seemed overstretched so the buffet wasn’t replenished regularly.

We spent two lovely days in Pau and were delighted to be guests in the Hotel Le Roncevaux for that time. It is an older hotel but is nicely upgraded with all modern conveniences. And the location in Pau is perfect for the visitor. The staff was friendly, courteous and made the extra effort to ensure our satisfaction. I recommend the hotel without any hesitation!

Economic, Economy stay with zero frills. Premium room was spacious but property is aged and in a bit of disrepair. Shower leaked onto bathroom floor creating a large river and pools of water on an already spongy floor. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but they provide a small fan and the windows fully open. In a heat wave, however, prepare to be a bit stifled. Staff is friendly and multilingual...

Staff is very friendly, and it's super well located with a small parking in the hotel patio Lacks a bit of maintenance in the shower, elevator. No air conditioner, just a basic fan. Walls are very thin so you hear the neighbours a lot

We haven’t been allowed by the young lady at the reception for 1 hour late check out which was really disappointing since there were not any real reason for that

Great service, excellent location for visiting Pau by foot, good value for money

I stayed here with a school group for two nights, and I would happily return. The hotel and rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the location very quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast offered a variety. The location was good, with public transport options around the corner as well as a small shopping centre and various eateries.

The three ladies, one from Peru, one from Paris, and one from George were very nice to me. I hope to stay here again--breakfast was also great!!

Simple, clean, air-conditioned and good value for money we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone planning a day or so in Pau. Not all that easy to find I initially but with good nearby transport links into the city. It was ideal for what we wanted and very pleasant and helpful staff.

The hotel is located at the entrance of the pedestrian street in Pau. It is a very old hotel with warm service and free underground parking. We were upgraded to a huge round room on the top floor with a good view of the balcony outside the window. The bedroom is full of quaint old furniture. The bathroom is very new. Lovely 3 star hotel, rooms are large shower worked well but the attachment to the wall didnt grip so you couldnt alter the height., bed was very comfortable and I loved the pillows. The toiletries are basic, but there. Breakfast was not worth the money very basic buffet with mini pastries, bread, cheese, hams, yoghurt. Sorry but I expect a proper croissant in France

Location very central and the room was a good size, however when we went up to the room, couldn’t get into the wardrobe (which had the spare towels) because the door was broken. Told reception who sent someone to fix it but it still wasn’t perfect. There was only 1 coffee pod for 2 people so had to ask for another one. Correct. It is an old hotel in which some of the rooms have been renovated. The one that corresponded to me was and therefore it was quite good. Nice, clean and quiet…downside is it’s not close to the center of town…had to drive for shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was very nice and the parking was free. Rooms are on the small side..bathrooms really small. Good place if you are doing day trips out of Pau.

Excellent hotel at this price. Clean communal areas and rooms, friendly service, good breakfast. Rooms a little small when configured for family but fine for overnight.

Very nice hotel, easy parking and nice rooms

We were unable to book a disabled room, so we thought we would put up with normal room. This was not a problem until we saw the bathroom in room 303. The shower cubicle would only fit a size 6 and was a waste of time. Went down to reception and a very nice gentleman helped us out and gave us a disabled room out of thin air, when there was not a room available previously. 🤔

Booked for a one night stay. Within easy walking distance of centre of town and with on site parking. It kinda does what it says on the tin. A bit dated in areas and getting a bit frayed around the edges but comfortable and reasonable value for money.

A bit rustic hotel. For one night this is good. We slept well in terms of bedding. However, the bathroom door did not close. The bed had to be remade a little because the fitted sheet was gone and the duvet was only on one side in the cover. Breakfast is ok. The location is very good, you can leave the car in the hotel parking lot and do a lot on foot.

This hotel have an excellent location (500m from Halles, 800m from center and 1200m from the railway station). Parking in the courtyard is a plus. The welcome was pleasant, and the room and bathroom were spacious. The decoration could be modernised (a matter of taste), but this in no way detracts from the service. I would come back again.

Very quiet and well-located hotel. The rooms are spread throughout a large historic villa, but the comfort is there. The room and bathroom are spacious. The breakfast is decent. I was just surprised by the paid parking within the property.

I chose this hotel for its location and because of fond memories of Campanile Restaurants in France. Whilst the continental breakfast was very acceptable and well up to standard, there was no evening meal available. There are several fast food options close by, but these were not what we wanted. The motel rooms were exactly as I remembered from the distant past - and there is where there is a problem...

The only regrettable point is the smell of cold tobacco in the rooms.

Brief stay in Pau Overall, a pleasant stay, just a shame the bar/restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening. Room was small, but well equipped and quiet. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good

très bien,chambre très confortable,bon acceuil ,la restauration n'est pas ouverte le soir mais ce n'est pas très grave vu qu il y a à côté de quoi se satisfaire.Beaucoup de choix dans le petit déjeuner.Facile à trouver,facile pour se garer et sécurisé.

Top, confortable un bon séjour. Les intervenants sont très sympa et disponibles. Une expérience sympa a un tarif abordable, c’est un super compromis. Je reviendrais de passage dans le coin. Merci à tous.
