No A/C in the room that was right under the roof. As a result, it was nearly 40* C in the room. The hotel didn't air out the room or do anything to help control the temperature prior to my arrival. I raised my concern with the front desk manager who just didn't care and stated it is hot in Rennes, what do you want me to do...

A hotel to absolutely avoid, especially during the summer!

Great location. Very welcoming staff. We were 2 adults and 2 kids in a two room apartment in a different building. The apartment is well maintained. I reduced 1 star because (1) many stairs to reach the apartment, not awful, but not comfortable. (2) light in the apartment are too bright and white. On the other hand, there are really few electric panels and the lamp that was supplied was standing in a location without any electricity. Did not understand that. Otherwise the location is great.

Right in the middle of the artisan area, this hotel was perfect for our party of 4. We had two rooms on the top floor with romantic views over the rooftops! Our rooms had air con, good showers and comfortable beds. On arrival we met Chloe and she made some great recommendations for evening drinks and meals. Although we did not have breakfast, there is an excellent continental offer plus coffee and on a Sunday it’s a good idea to have this as not many places are open until later. Aleze was more than happy to look after our bags and even our patisserie treasures until we left after our lunch. Over all it was an excellent experience and we will be back here in the spring and hopefully be able to meet the wonderful team again!

Very kind and helpful staff. The breakfast is delicious and the location is super. We stayed here to start and to the end our roadtrip in the region and we had a great experience here both times. In the heart of the city and around 10/12 min walk from the train station.

This hotel in the heart of Rennes was recommended by a local friend. It's a good value hotel. It's right in the city center, and you can get everywhere by walking downstairs. The sofa bed in our room had to be put down, so the space was a bit tight, but it was cleaned very well every day. In short, it's a small hotel with its own unique style.

The hotel is located in the city center – a bit far from the train and bus stations (not a big deal, we always walked), but very close to the historical sights. The interior is very pleasant, the staff is wonderful, there's an elevator and a luggage storage area. The room is small but quite pleasant; there was even a kettle. There were some minor issues, like a leaky shower, but I think those were minor. We were quite comfortable here.
