Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, perfect location between the train station and Place de la Comédie. Classic features stylishly decorated, with imagination and a sense of humor. Great value for your money.

Great location close to shops and cafes. Had a great time. Rooms are a bit small but at least they had a lift.

This is our second stay at the Hotel Royal.. one our first stay our ground floor room was exceptional… this time our 2nd floor room had many problems. The air conditioning did not work,.. the faulty toilet door was difficult to manoeuvre and made enough noise to wake the dead! The shower door kept falling off its rail!

Easy check-in and great location. Three minutes to Place Comedie and five minutes to Gare St Roch. We enjoyed Montpellier.

Very nice hotel. Big clean family room with working air condition. The breakfast was really good. Hard to get to by car though. We had to carry our luggage for a couple of blocks. Can recommend the Saint-Roch parking garage where you also will get a discount from the hotel.

Really nice hotel and amazing location. The basic room is not great , but once upgraded it was excellent. The basic room had no shower and the bathroom needed a huge upgrade/ renovation. I really enjoyed the stay once upgraded.

We liked the vibe of this boutique hotel. The location was convenient.
The complimentary afternoon tea was a real treat and made the stay feel more special.
I would have given 5 stars for the room, however unfortunately our pillow cases had a damp/sweat smell, so hopefully this gets resolved for future stays.
Thanks for the experience.
