Another good stay in Montpellier with my sweetheart Michelle. Our room was comfortable and there had been a refurbishment since our last stay. The hotel is convenient for the Autoroute and very close to the Garcia Lorca tram station which gives easy access to the city and the Montpellier tram network. The parking is ample and overall a very good choice of hotel.
I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The pool area was stunning—clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. The water was just the right temperature, and there were always enough loungers available. What really stood out, though, was the on-site restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with a varied menu and high-quality ingredients...
Stayed in the newly refurbished Novotel Montpellier for 5 nights in early July 2025. The hotel is neatly decorated and furnished with an adequate pool. The restaurant is above average for a hotel of this standing with daily imaginative salads plus the usual fayre. All presented and served well. I'd recommend a visit to this city and whilst exploring stay at the Novotel.
I thought this hotel was fabulous. The breakfast choices were vast, and the pool was spacious and a perfect temperature. The rooms were clean, but they were a bit small, kids even got a free teddy when signing in! It had very nice surroundings and had lots of nature! I would highly suggest coming!
The hotel itself was very good, with the pool being quite big, clean and warm, the breakfast buffet was decent though there were a few problems like bad scrambled egg quality and complex coffee machines but beyond that it was lovely. The lobby and guest facilities were all clean and nice, aswell as the room, which, despite being rather small, was not unpleasant. The toilet is in a different room to...
We have stayed at the Novotel in Montpellier many times, normally en route to Spain. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and can be easily accessed from the autoroute. Garcia Lorca tram station is a short walk away and the tram stops right in heart of the vibrant and lively city centre. The room wasn’t anything fancy but was very clean and comfortable. The bar and reception areas have...

Very good hotel in a central location
Better than expected! The hotel environment is very unique. The room is spacious and bright, the facilities are new and well maintained, the shower water pressure is sufficient, and the sound insulation is good. The staff service is particularly good. The breakfast is worth a try. Highly recommended!
The room is clean, everything works perfectly. There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave and sink. Very large bathroom with a shared shower and toilet. One large bed for us parents and a fold-out sofa for our son. Very tasty breakfast - buffet: sweet, salty, juices, coffee, tea. We really liked the room, although from the outside the hotel needs a little restoration from mold.
Nice hotel, clean and quiet. The restaurant is nice and breakfast is a buffet with good choices Large selection of good tea
Because we went to Andorra, it was already 2 am when we arrived at the hotel. The front desk was very welcoming and checked us in quickly, so we could rest quickly. The breakfast in the morning was also good. The only problem was that the slope of the garage was too steep and we almost couldn't drive up.
Stayed here for one night during our trip across Europe. Check in was quick and easy and parking is excellent since it’s right outside the front door. Very useful when you have lots of luggage and don’t want to waste time. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty ok too. Not as good as breakfast in the same Novotel hotel in Grenoble though. All in all it was a nice short stay and everything...

Comfortable room, friendly staff. There are no other Brits here and very few staff speak English - a great opportunity to practice your French. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Oceania Montpellier! The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and beautiful with large windows that opened for some fresh air. Thermostat is able to be controlled or set for each room for comfort and blackout curtains made it easy to sleep after a long flight. I forgot to photos of the room but they were spacious for Europe and the wood floors were lovely...
I was late arriving due to flight issues. My daughter had been in Montpellier for 2 months and had to move out of her apartment. I was so relieved to not lose my room and she could still stay there until I arrived. Hotel was beautiful. If I come back, I’d stay here again!
Around 10 min walk from the train station. Room very nice and quiet. Bed very comfortable. Toilet and bathroom carved out from a corner in the room and thank goodness the glass partition is opaque, well stocked with Ritual bath products. The most upsetting experience is that even the front desk staff promised to remove the hold on my deposit in the credit card immediately after check out, it was only...
We were going to have breakfast in the morning and for the price we expected a much greater choice of hot food and coffee choice. Most other hotels we have visited give you a choice of eggs, poached, boiled or scrambled. It was very limited so we went up the road.
This is one of the places I stayed in France next to Paris. Montpelier at the times of my visit, March 2024, was a very good weather conditions and I really enjoyed my time at the Hotel. But shuttle services at the Hotel is unavailable which needs much attention though it is accessible on foot with a walking distance from the train station.
Liberty-style hotel in the common wards, while the rooms are modern and recently renovated. excellent service. a bit 'difficult to reach by car, because of the poor traffic in the central area of Montpellier.

Loved the location, staff and facilities provided. Great value for money that exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the team.
Our room was very small and had only a glass screen for the toilet and bathroom between the bedroom. The main door into the room ioened up onto the bed
Good central location, the rooms are nothing to get excited about and the bathroom design made it difficult to use.
Very basic. Convenient location. Reception staff not very willing to help
I recently stayed here and while the location and overall service were decent, I was disappointed with the bathroom facilities. The bathroom is extremely small, making it very uncomfortable to move around. It felt cramped and impractical, which negatively impacted my stay. For the price, I expected a more functional and spacious setup. This is something the management should seriously consider improving
The room is spacious and bright. The bathroom is separated by transparent glass and the toilet is open without any obstruction. It is suitable for one person to stay in. The room is poorly isolated from noise. If you need a quiet environment to fall asleep, I suggest you consider it again. Going across the mall to the train station would save five minutes. If the mall is closed, you have to take a...

My friend and I stayed there 2 days ago. Not sure how they got such good review. The experience didn’t meet five star hotel standard at all. This was the worst for our whole Europe trip. Firstly, the room is big but very basic, even the door is brokering. Then, the service is very unprofessional. We checked in the first night, the reception was cold; then, they tried to charge us for included breakfast...
When I came at Domaine in June for the first time for drinks , I really liked the place, and the atmosphere was good. So we decided to go back to Domaine for family farewell dinner before going back to Dubai, however we were very disappointed with a food and service. What an ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE GEM!! We stayed here for two nights to celebrate my friend’s birthday and it exceeded our every expectation!!! Very spacious room, fully equipped, high quality. They even provide IMac in the room. The room is clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly, breakfast are also good, serving variety of classy foods with good taste. It is a bit nigh end in term of pricing, but they give a gift a bottle of wine for every room. There is wineyard at the hotel complex, unfortunately I came in February where they just cut...
Beautiful place and the hotel gifted us a bottle of wine that was made from their vineyards. Close enough to Montpellier city but tucked away for some serenity. Nice toiletries too. Very good service by all staff! Breakfast is great - wish there were more variety of cheese. We are in France, after all.
Great experience. The "domaine" is perfect for romantic nights or business seminars.

This is a lovely ibis, with fully refurbished bedrooms with access to air conditioning. The staff were friendly. However, communication could have been better. On one of the days we stayed, the restaurant was closed, but there was no notice to show this; apart from this, it was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed the three days we visited.
Six of us stayed here before and after a penichette cruise. It’s standard Ibis, at least adequate, although the ground floor corridor is dark, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a tram stop a couple of minute’s walk away, from where all parts of the city can be reached. Breakfast was very good, apart from the hot water not being up to making British tea. The bar is nice, but we found...
The room was super noisy, lots of doors banging in the morning, and I guess everybody in the rooms above me was wearing stiletto heals on the wooden floors in the early morning hours! Impossible to have a late relaxing morning. The staff was super friendly, with one exception: With my loyalty card I am being offered a free drink. I ordered a beer and the bar tender was about to pour it, when his supervisor...
We stayed with our family (incl. 3 kids) for one night. Friendly staff, very good restaurant (delicious poké bowl) and healthy breakfast. Comfortable room and clean bathroom. Football table for the kids.
Cheap and basic, but ticked all the boxes we had for a stop between Barcelona and the alps. Clean and tidy. No complaints.
Great hotel, friendly staff and good amenities in the room and common areas. The only bad thing is the parking spot that you have to walk all the way around to get to. Taking the metro is easy enough to go downtown and the station is nearby.

This hotel is in a great location for central Montpellier. The hotel is modern and well laid out. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in an amazing superior suite with outdoor private balcony space. Personally I would have preferred the aircon to go a few degrees lower but can't fault the facilities. The staff were all amazing, friendly and helpful.
Excellent hotel with comfortable and convenient rooms, located not very far from Montpellier main station, of course very friendly staff, varied breakfast buffet
Much better inside than the exterior suggests. Clean and cool. Rooms a reasonable size and, certainly on the top floor, it was quiet. Staff friendly with good English. There is a small pool and gym, but it is essentially a business hotel. Not to far from a team stop.
Nice ambience and friendly staff. Great location, nice outdoor pool with bar/restaurant yet easy walking to the city and underground parking. Room a little small for two people but has everything and bed/bedding extremely comfortable. Shower water pressure could be stronger

Aging hotel but nice staff. We ended up getting pizza delivered so we could eat on the terrace. The receptionist offered us napkins as we didn’t get from the delivery guy. He was a very nice tall guy. Maybe hôtel could be a bit cleaner. There is a funny odor in the hallway. Was perfect for a night. Easy to park. Easy to order pizza for a fast meal during our road trip.
Fantastic hotel for a short break with children. Very good value, excellent facilities including small but pleasant pool, table tennis and excellent clubhouse bar and restaurant. Room was clean and pleasant, with huge bed and fridge. Easy access from Montpellier on tram 3 then bus 25. Highly recommended.
Nice surroundings and a good view onto the golf course. The ladies at the reception are really nice. One speaks English and the other German. Seeing as we are Dutch we speak both. Lift is great because walking stairs is hard for me. We had a good size room, only remark is the size of the bath. I am tiny but it was even small for me. (1.57cm and 60 kilo). I spent at the hotel 7 nights (I came to do academic research in Montpellier). On the whole the whole experience was rather average. The best thing about the hotel, was how nice the staff were. Newly renovated hotel, rooms are quite small but they're very clean and comfortable. My wife and I only stayed here for one night during our visit to Montpellier. The hotel is beautiful and the service is great, it’s all typically French design - like you see in movies and sitting outside at the front having the hotel breakfast was a highlight. Highly recommend staying here, it’s in a very good location and you can park in the public park house across the main road.
A charming little hotel in a great neighborhood. Staff were quite friendly and helpful, allowing me to keep my bike in a side room overnight. The room was small but clean and the AC worked surprisingly well for an older building. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

The parking feels safe (although I think the exit is completely open?) and there is even a bike cage, so it is perfect for people travelling with a full car. Value for money as budget hotel for budget traveller. Although room size a bit small but still manage to accommodate 3 people and their luggage. Location not in city center but still accessible by tram.
