Although I was informed that building work was being carried out on the hotel, the description was that it was confined to the new lobby area. It was a surprise therefore that my wife and I were woken up by workmen on the roof right outside our bedroom window. The hotel was nowhere near to full capacity and we could have been located in a room on the opposite side of the corridor.

We had a great stay. The room was comfortable with a nice view over the park. The ladies at the reception were all very nice and welcoming. The hotel is very central. Recommended.

If you have a large vehicle, hotel car park is a nightmare. Only just high enough clearance for my vehicle, Landrover Discovery HSE, but the width is the issue. Whilst hotel does warn of height it does not pre warn of width issue for entry. Even with side mirrors stowed inwards, had to wiggle car passed keypad cupboard, which has a protruding steel cover and door entry post resulting in damaged front...

We wanted a central location with parking and EV charging. It was unclear to me that this was in a nearby public car park and there was nowhere to park near the hotel to ask as traffic was very heavy. Although the hotel is now a little dated, the room was clean with basic facilities. But for the reasonable cost it suited us for the 2 nights too visit Angers.

IBIS CENTRE ANGERS Ibis is well situated for the centre of Angers but lacks easy loading/unloading now .Paid parking is about 200 metres away but is often full . Rooms are small but comfortable; linen provided is just about acceptable unless you are a large person !

Ibis Angers Centre Location in Angers centre is good but no parking or stopping by hotel makes loading or unloading very difficult . Towels are too small and not replaced.

Highly recommended! Hotel location is great, short walk to centre square, restaurants and shops. You are well taken care of with Jumael during breakfast service, a delightful and professional gentleman. Delphaine greets you at reception warmly with a wealth of experience and knowledge of Angers, a true professional a credit to the Hotel and hospitality industry.

Stayed in a standard room which was elegantly decorated and comfortable. Staff throughout our stay were excellent. Clearly very busy, but always pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also very good.

This was a one night stopover on a cycle trip through France. Considering Angers is on the Loire where there are so many cyclists this hotel seemed to be completely unprepared for cyclists- storage was on a landing down about 6 steps which was hard work with the ebike. With the hotel still being renovated, the staff is very friendly, the room is very clean (but please repair the bathroom wall under the sink) and quiet (close to the road) due to the double, double windows (however, net curtains hinder opening the windows a bit). Location of hotel within walking distance of the station - really great! Breakfast is excellent, giving you a good start to your day!

We stayed for one night during road trip through the Valley. It's a budget-oriented place but we expected that. What makes a budget hotel great is the staff and cleanliness and both were excellent. The hotel is very well located, next to the train station, the tram, and lots of shops nearby. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable, and I slept very well. However, our room didn't have air conditioning. In the summer, that can be a problem. I don't know if all the rooms have air conditioning. Breakfast was decent.

I came to spend the weekend in Angers with some friends and we stayed at this hotel! The staff were fantastic, the receptionist and the chambermaid were all very warm and friendly! This is a basic, average hotel. Comfortable bed, but light from AC control stays on all night and shines in one’s face. Bathroom lighting is poor, and lighting in the room leaves some areas dark. We were disappointed that the restaurant attached to the hotel was closed, even though it was a Friday night. Okay place to stop to get a night’s sleep, but nothing special.

The hotel staff were very good, unfortunately the same can't be said of the logis hotel group as although I had booked a room I made the mistake of booking a room for the same date a month on! And although I paid the extortionate amount on the day they still want €61 to cancel the room even though I have paid for it! I won't use them again!

The location was fantastic and there was easy accessibility to trams and tourist sites. The room was at its bare min - no slippers or robe and no bathroom amenities other than soap. The staff were super friendly and that made up for much! Just be warned that there are loads of stairs outside and inside for those less mobile to note.

This hotel deserves better reviews. The room was huge and very thoughtfully designed. Very clean too. Also appreciated the parking which was private and secure - connected to the main building.

The hotel had all the amenities that was needed, the rooms are sufficient for two, small kitchen is included. The bed was very comfortable, the room had a window and a heater. The hotel smelled like a car refresher, which is good considering there is a kitchen in every room. Located very near to the tram and the university.

We had a nice stay and the hotel is very clean. The receptionist is always smiling. They have a bike garaje, if you are bike touring.

We stayed in the hotel for one night while travelling by bike. Both receptionists were super friendly and attentive (5* for them). They had a special deposit for our bikes, which was great. The location is very central, you can visit everything by foot. The price was fair and the room very comfortable. Some small maintenance would be necessary, specially in the bathroom.

Convenient and affordable location We were there for a night while traveling through France. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. The walls are very thin and we could hear every noise from the rooms down the hall. Convenient location by the train station and staff were kind and helpful.
