This was a fantastic Ibis and the service was amazing. Very quiet lobby to get work done as well. Audrey at the front desk was a lifesaver! Lots of outlets if you run out of battery. If I ever find myself with a time between trains again in Angers I’ll know the place to stay.

Within 10 mins walkable distance to city centre. Comfortable hotel. Good choices for breakfast. Limited sockets for power.

Old and tired…the hotel, not me!
Ibis Styles are normally clean and modern, this one is not. Very small room and tiny bathroom, all looks very tired and worn. However the lady on reception was very pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast, however, was really good with plenty of choice on the buffet

This was a one night stopover on a cycle trip through France. Considering Angers is on the Loire where there are so many cyclists this hotel seemed to be completely unprepared for cyclists- storage was on a landing down about 6 steps which was hard work with the ebike. Charging ( as the battery does not come out) was only allowed for two hours- I had to argue for that- in the reception area; and I don't think that they were particularly happy with that. Room like a normal Ibis and breakfast included in the rate was fine. I think in retrospect we would have been better off staying in the small 3* hotel round the corner which said "accueil velos ".

Good hotel about 10 minutes walk from the center of town onsite parking a plus, all facilities you would expect from an Ibis hotel

This hotel doesn't have the style of Ibis styles at all, and I have seen a few in Europe.

The room was dull and dated. The sewer pipe from the room above was visible and heard in the bathroom. And there was a smell in the bathroom.

The breakfast buffet was sort of ok.

All in all, a wrong price quality ratio

We have stayed in many Ibis Hotels over many years and miles, and have been a member of the Accor hotels group for longer. We were not impressed with is one. For the first time we were refused a drink each at the bar and were told one card, one drink. Really poor service. Not hugely pleasant staff either they were struggling to be nice. Handy for the city, and the station but very noisy during the night with deliveries, reversing beeps etc. All in all, we won't stay there again.

I’ve stayed at two other Ibis Styles before, and this one is far from the standard of the ones I stayed at previously. It's hard to understand the criteria. The impression I got is that they took an old regular Ibis (or budget?), renovated the lobby, slightly improved the breakfast, and turned it into a Styles standard, but without touching the rooms. The room was extremely tight, with old and tasteless décor. There were practically no amenities, no coffee maker, no kettle, and definitely no minibar. The TV was placed on a shelf and gave the impression that it could fall at any moment. In short, it was a room that made you have no desire to stay. At least the beds were of good quality. Apart from that, the reception service was excellent, and the breakfast was decent.

With the hotel still being renovated, the staff is very friendly, the room is very clean (but please repair the bathroom wall under the sink) and quiet (close to the road) due to the double, double windows (however, net curtains hinder opening the windows a bit). Location of hotel within walking distance of the station - really great! Breakfast is excellent, giving you a good start to your day!
