Our bed was comfortable, the bathroom basic but functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. BUT we found 2 cockroaches in the bed! There was a gap between the skirting board and the wall and I imagine that is where they came from. A bit off-putting to say the least!

Extremely uncomfortable bedding...no mattress at all!!!
We had a terrible night...there's no mattress!!!! Just a 5cm topper on the bed frame. It's the first time we've ever seen this in a hotel; even a first-class hotel is more comfortable. As for breakfast, which is served until 10:00 AM, don't go at 9:30 AM; there's already less choice.

We wanted a central location with parking and EV charging. It was unclear to me that this was in a nearby public car park and there was nowhere to park near the hotel to ask as traffic was very heavy. When we were finally directed to the car park it was full but we got a spot with a short wait. There was nowhere sign that we saw of chargers. When we returned next day chargers were obvious so they were all occupied when we arrived. OK in retrospect but stressful at the time and little help from the hotel.

Although the hotel is now a little dated, the room was clean with basic facilities.
But for the reasonable cost it suited us for the 2 nights too visit Angers.

Used as base to see cathedral and castle with tapestries. Nicely located in walking distance from both.

IBIS CENTRE ANGERS
Ibis is well situated for the centre of Angers but lacks easy loading/unloading now .Paid
parking is about 200 metres away but is often full .
Rooms are small but comfortable; linen provided is just about acceptable unless you are a large person !

Location in Angers centre is good but no parking or stopping by hotel makes loading or unloading very difficult .
Towels are too small and not replaced.

We stayed here for business which price was step for the quality of hotel the young lady on reception was very helpful best thing about the hotel!

At Pizza Tempo you get a good pizza baked by a friendly, professional staff. They have a 24 hour Pizza Dispenser Machine, the only food you can buy in Angers when everything else is closed.
