The hotel is well located near the train station and close to the cathedral, however...
If you're arriving by car make sure you receive accurate direction from the hotel as to how to reach the entrance (the street is restricted to buses only...) and to the parking garage.
There's no elevator in the hotel which means that if you arriving with a suitcase you'll need to carry it up (and later down) a steep and narrow staircase.
Our room had faulty lights which made to room rather dark and the hotel wifi wasn't detected on our phones and pc
If all this doesn't bother you, I wouldn't rule it out for a one night stay

Stunning! Very spacious room & chic bar area.

Very friendly and supportive staff, especially the service to go with the guests to help finding the parking. Train Station on the other side of the Square but yet quiet Perfect Location for a Walk to the cathedral and old town in 10 minutes

Great location but thats about it . Strange slanted room and bathroom was poorly arranged and tiny.

This was a great hotel. Cute boutique style. Breakfast was excellent—you should get this one. Staff v friendly. You should pre book parking which we did. A little offsite but 3-5 min walk. Rooms were cute and we enjoyed our time there.

Staff are very welcoming and so helpful.
The design of the en-suite is terrible. I do not need to poo a foot away from my wife’s sleeping head.

The hotel was in a good location and provides good value for the price. I would have appreciated a coffee maker in the room - and a more private door on the washroom. The hotel does not have an elevator, which may make a difference to some guests.

Amazing value for a very comfortable and convenient Chartres stay. Super clean. Perfect location directly across from the train station and a very short walk to the cathedral and village.

If a hotel is overbooked on both rooms (prepaid) and a separately reserved parking space, one wonders what the definition of a reservation is. But most importantly: how do you handle this as a hotelier? We think that making up excuses that are clearly far from reality and then start shouting when your explanation is not accepted, would not be the way to go…
