Les Trésorières in Tours

Simply a awful experience with poor communication and lack of respect for me as a client. I took the trouble to travel to this hotel a month before to ensure I was able to book the restaurant attached to the hotel before booking the hotel for my Wedding Anniversary. I was categorically ensured the restaurant was open and I personally saw the lady enter my booking into the reservation book. She even wrote in the book that it was for our 40th wedding anniversary. On this confirmation I booked the room and had to pay for it in advance. Two days prior to our arrival we were informed by email that the restaurant was closed. Cold, unpleasant, shocking, no empathy and no offer to refund us our money for the room. On arrival we were escorted to a courtyard room that had litter on the bin right at the door. Bar has 4 comfortable chairs? Two right in front of a door that opened and closed with freezing temperatures outside. We ended up traveling to Chenonceau for our dinner and could have easily stayed there for the night had we known well in advance. This is a typical example of poor hospitality management and lack of professional staff. We recommend this hotel to our clients throughout the year, never again.
