Absolutely unacceptable experience.

We stayed for one night as a family — two adults with a young child. At check-in, I specifically made it clear that we were travelling with a small child, expecting at least a basic level of consideration.

Instead, we were given a room with a direct view of the garbage/bin area.

Seriously? For a family with a young child? Is this what you consider acceptable hospitality?

If no other rooms were available, this should have been honestly disclosed BEFORE check-in, not forced on guests after arrival. A simple apology afterwards does not fix the experience.

A complete disappointment. We would never choose this hotel again and absolutely would not recommend it to families.

Good hotel, Edge of the old city, perfectly located to walk everywhere. The breakfast was not good and I wouldn't recommend it, but the hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable.

Just what we needed for a one night stay. Hotel is in a lovely renovated old building right by the old city with dining close by. Location was very important to us. Elevator & AC. Continental breakfast available. Reasonably priced, especially given location. Lovely helpful staff-- thanks Ambre & Sarah.

This hotel is right on the edge of the old city. The rooms were pretty standard, very clean and well kept up. They offered a continental breakfast in the morning which was actually a great price and very nice. Staff were multilingual and very pleasant and accommodating. 10 minute walk to the center but only 2 minutes to the best museum in town and 2 minutes to major restaurant and shopping streets.

A gem of a little hotel in the centre of Aix. Cleanliness is excellent, the staff are friendly and professional. The hotel has been recently renovated to a high standard. Rooms include new en suite facilities, coffee machine and a kettle. Parking available locally. There’s a supermarket across the road and the hotel is literally 100m from great local cafes, restaurants, boulangeries and even chocolate shops. Highly recommended.

A pleasant surprise, excellent location near the old city and the beautiful places. Public parking near the hotel. A very comfortable room. Does not include breakfast. We went out to eat because it's more fun.

Excellent - highly recommended. Lovely very clean well appointed room (204) Balcony overlooking the street. Not noisy as window was shut - air conditioning. Lovely shower - toiletries and hairdryer available. Shaving kit, dental kit and iron available on request. On the edge of the old town and five minute walk from Cours Mirabeau. Art deco style- very nice! We had a lovely stay. Comfortable bed. Highly recommended and we would stay again.

We had a 2 night stay in a twin room on the first floor (no balcony). The room was well proportioned and beautifully (& newly) decorated. Situated on a ring-road around the heart of the city, it was a short walk to the centre for shops, food (there is a supermarket opposite) and sightseeing. The road is busy and you can hear the road with the windows shut, but it is not a disturbance. The room has air conditioning so opening the window was not necessary. The breakfast is continental and adequate. The reception staff are very friendly & helped us sort a problem with our booking. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Basic room, great location.
Excellent location to the old town restaurants and shops, very convenient. A very basic room, but suited our needs for the night. Loud street made it hard to get a good nights sleep. Had to search for a plug to charge our phones.
