Avignon, 20 Bd Saint-Roch (in the centre) 🧭 Map
good novotel branded accommodation. Close to Avignon city centre area.
Right next to the A**weng city wall, it is very convenient to go to the scenic spots. The hotel is also very clean and the service is good. It is very suitable for travel.
I like location of this hotel. Not far from the old town. We can just walk from the hotel to explore old town. You can park your car into hotel parking building or if you have a tall car like 190 heights, you can just choose parking building next to the hotel.
All the staff are very welcome and helpful. Clean room, free wifi.
The hotel is in a good location, just outside the city wall, and within walking distance of the Papal Palace and the Broken Bridge. There is a paid underground parking lot with easy access, suitable for self-driving. The room facilities and breakfast are quite satisfactory, typical of Novotel.
The location is very good, outside the old city wall, the city wall is outside the window, and it is not far from the church and the Broken Bridge. It is also convenient for eating. There is an underground parking lot for 13 euros. The room facilities are also good.
From our arrival with access to the underground car park before even checking in it was a very enjoyable stay. All the staff we met were helpful and personable. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied. We didn't use all the facilities by any means but the quality of the main area on the ground floor seemed exceptional. The location was perfect. Easily accessible without having to venture inside the...

Super friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Thanks 🙏
Clean and new but far from city and still a 10min walk to TGV station.
We stayed at this hotel for a day visit to Avignon followed by an early morning TGV train to Paris. It’s excellently located for this. The reception staff were friendly & welcoming and spoke immaculate English. After our day in Avignon we chilled out by the pool with a cocktail then had a delicious meal in the hotel.
Good hotel in France, big space, facilities are good.
Overall very satisfied.
The breakfast is very rich, with freshly baked croissants, chess, and ham. Very close to TGV, 12-3 minutes walk. Very quiet, very convenient, but the room is a bit small.
The hotel room is very special and facilities are great. Service is very good and we are very satisfied with the stay even though we just stayed one night.

At Hotel d’Europe, you quickly realize the hype is absolutely deserved. The restaurant delivers an upscale yet approachable dining experience, where refinement never overshadows warmth.
The atmosphere is elegant and historic, but never stiff — it feels like the perfect setting for a special meal that’s still inviting and comfortable. The cooking is precise and thoughtful, with dishes that showcase...
Absolutely perfect 🤩 A place with a fabulous history (Napoleon, Hugo, Hemingway, Piaf…) and heritage a few steps away from the Popes Castle of Avignon. The gastronomic restaurant is a must go to enjoy one of the most refined cuisine in town!! The private and quiet courtyard under the trees is a true gift in the heart of summer, charmed by the delicate sound of the fountain. Some well deserved refreshing...
This hotel was built in the 1600s and has a beautiful, welcoming courtyard and offered us excellent service at the front desk and from the valets. We had a superior room, which opened to a quaint courtyard and balcony with seating area. At night we had drinks in the common area but didn’t not try any of the food options. Air conditioning was superb and provided a respite from the warm Provençal sun...
Classic and cosy traditional hotel with a soul. Great amd convenient location just inside the city walls, attentive and friendly staff, a beautiful suite with terrace. Perfect.
My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary,. It's right off the TGV in Avignon we stopped as we were heading south, we stayed one night and it was very romantic, very beautiful. The town is a gem and the hotel is as quaint and beautiful as you can imagine..
Just inside the city walls adjacent to the Rhone, it's a lovely hotel. Beautiful courtyard. Great local wines. Easy to walk into old city center.

We love it here! The staff are polite and helpful, especially Tom, who always makes our day. The hotel is super clean, cozy, and lovely. Our triple room is very spacious and quiet. We love all the details, especially the towel dryer. Palais des papes juz 2 mins walk, we passed by every day to the parking, which hotel will validate the parking ticket for us and get discount. There are two big...
Great location and property. Highly recommended.
The hotel is in a great location, right in the city center, next to the square and the cathedral, and a ten-minute walk from the train station. The hotel breakfast is OK, and the staff are warm and considerate!
The location is excellent, it's very convenient to go everywhere, the room is clean and comfortable, I like it very much!
This is the second stop of my October trip to Southern Europe and Italy, [A**weng], where I stayed.
It can be said that it exceeded my expectations.
The hotel with an average daily price of ¥1000+ has very complete facilities~

Very average room hygiene. Very aging room to be refreshed
The hotel has a swimming pool and a restaurant. We live on the first floor, open the door and have a lawn. The room is comfortable and clean.
Good beds, everything clean but the rooms small. Restaurant is good and the service nice and simpatic.
Very friendly staff, helping us to find a nearby restaurant, and advised on parking nearby Avignon (P+R at parking des Italiens)

Even though it is very close to the Papal Palace, it is in the old town. The location is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, and this town is very distinctive. Breakfast is also provided here, which is convenient for going out. The architecture is also very distinctive
Nice hotel in the heart of Avignon. Small, clean rooms and simple tasty breakfast.
Very well priced hotel in the centre. Very clean. Recommended
Very convenient location , near to Palais Des Papes parking with a 20% discount given . Staff were friendly and helpful .
We stayed for two nights and love everything about this hotel. The super cute room with a comfortable bed, the amazing view out the window and the small but perfect bathroom. Everything clean and new. The staff is so lovely and helpful and they spoke excellent English. Breakfast was plenty and fresh. Can highly recommend!

We liked our superior twin room as it was very spacious for 2 travellers. The air conditioning was needed and worked well. The bathroom could’ve done with some renovation but everything was okay. There was no safe. The breakfast was good and we loved the French bread and butter. Location was perfect and everything within walking distance.
Good location with walking distance to Papal palace. The economy room was very basic and tiny. The room was clean and AC worked great. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The nearest parking was 5 minutes walk away and I don’t not recommend bringing heavy roller suitcases due to the cobble stone streets.
This is a very basic room in an old old building. Very clean, but a fellow traveler thought it was unacceptable (she's really sort of a snob). Rooms are very small but perfectly okay for a place to lay your head after being out and about all day. Very reasonable rates if you're not too fussy. Great location in the center of town!!!
Great location. No Bar fridge, tea and coffee ( instant) facilities provided. Towels were small. Bed was a bit uncomfortable. The room and bathroom were bit dated. Lots of eateries around
Good place, well located, quiet.

Comfortable centre ville hotel; limited parking but we managed to get there in time for 2 days. very friendly people indeed and short walk only to bars and restaurants
We really enjoyed our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have a box of Kleenex in the bathroom.
Breakfast was very good and the lobby coffee and tea service was excellent.
Very close to the train station and bus terminal.

Very friendly staff. The hotel is also located near the attractions of Avignon.
A hotel with a quaint exterior, friendly front desk, clean rooms, convenient transportation, and a good location where you can see Avignon city within walking distance. A hotel suitable for traveling to Avignon.
The front desk service was excellent. We ran out of hand sanitizer, and they immediately brought us a new one. The hotel only had one bottle of multi-purpose hand soap, shower gel, and shampoo, all from the same bottle. There was a small desk and a small kitchen table, and the bathroom was quite spacious. We fell in love with this charming hotel and the lovely staff that worked there! They made every effort to make us comfortable and welcomed. The location is amazing. Yes there were light bulbs out and the air conditioning was broken but we survived it and slept with the windows open, laughing at the early morning noise. The charm of the hotel won us over completely.
You do need to know to park...
Stunning historic building in great location. Staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke great English.
An antiquated fancy hotel dating back to the 18th century. Enjoyed the novelty of staying in a room that more than 200 hundred years old. The view outside the window was wonderful facing the Palais des Papes. The room was little small and not too comfortable given the age of the building
Enjoyed our stay. We rented two rooms One was newly remodeled Ours was older but freshly done up with beamed ceilings. So fun to be in a quaint historic building above a restaurant. Parking was easy and elevator delivered us in front of Palais des Papes a short walk to our hotel .
Directly sited across the palace, nice view and very central. Parking in the garage next to the hotel possible. Height limit of the car 1.90m sharp.
The hotel is at the heart of Avignon, couldn't be better situated. It's a beautiful building in sand stone and has this Middle Ages and Gothic feel.
Staff was very friendly, the cuisine was ok. The food was good and tasty, the menu I found a bit boring.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Mirande. We received amazing, over the top service. When we could not figure out how to drive the to the hotel, we parked outside the city and ubered in. A Charming Stay at a Truly Historic Gem
Hôtel La Mirande is an unforgettable place—steeped in history, elegantly preserved, and full of character. While our room wasn't one of the signature ones with soaring ceilings or a canopy bed, it was still very nice: spacious, well-appointed, and full of thoughtful details that made the stay comfortable and relaxing.
The atmosphere throughout the hotel is...
In the middle of the old town, beautiful building right across the street from the Popes Palace. Beautiful very unique room and amazing surface. Extremely difficult to drive to the hotel with all the old town narrow Street €25 for valet parking.
This hotel is very special. The rooms are decorated exquisitely and in keeping with the historical period. However the air conditioning was not working in my room the first two nights and there wasn’t another room available so sleeping was uncomfortable. The third day the electricity went out completely and I was moved to a much smaller room for the final night. Upon checking out no adjustment was...
It was a place with a lot of beauty in every corner, but there were also many regrets.
I didn't get the feeling that the staff was that friendly. It was so pretty that it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that I went to see a cat.

The rooms are a bit small, the bedsheets and blankets seem very old. Sadly there were only bathtubs and no showers and you couldn't lock the bathroom. The stay is totally ok if you don't need much and plan on spending your day outside. Each room is in a little "house" and in front of it are tables and chairs where you can have nice evenings under the stars with your friends.
We went here as our school trip and it was fine. The bathrooms are a little small and the shower lacks a curtain, therefore you flood the entire room while showering. And we brought our wii but the tv are a little to small for mariokart multiplayer. And the wifi really sucks.
Very simpel, but nice. No real showers, just some kind of bathtub. Breakfast was good. But not much diversity.

Great location near the gate to Avignon. Breakfast buffet was great. Small rooms and good service.
I like its location. Tucked away in a quiet street, it's actually very near to the train station, and there's a picturesque square literally steps away, lined with very nice cafes and restaurants, including a Michelin starred one, if you have deep pockets. The lady at the reception is very kind, and treats her guests very warmly. I felt the room was really tiny, like my suitcase couldn't even fit in...

Cheap but delicious breakfast.
Very close to the train station. Quite a lot of stairs to the room which was fine for me but if you struggle with stairs or have very heavy bags it would be difficult. Home of the friendliest. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is ideally located since a few minutes from Avignon without noise pollution. The manager is very nice and very good advice. To book with your eyes closed 🤗

What a fantastic location. You feel like a local living in the Hotel Mignon. Leo and his wife really care about each customer. They dealt with UPS shipments for us and knew everything there was to know about the city. Rooms were older but very comfortable. Slept great there. Location central to everything. I would recommend this hotel for its authenticity. Excellent.
Leo and his wife were extremely helpful in giving suggestions for restaurants and directions. Our room was very small/tight quarters, but we knew that it would be up front given the historic nature of the building. Nice location central to everything within walking distance.
Great location in the old town.
Hospitable hosts. Great value for money.
Located in the historic city center. No elevator, but Leo, the proprietor, was able to give us a room on the second floor (first floor, above ground floor, in French). He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and is trilingual (French, English, Spanish). His wife prepared a tasty breakfast in the charming dining room. They have a refrigerator that guests can use to store small amounts of food....
I had a lovely stay in Hotel Mignon at the end of March 2025. I found that the hotel owners could not have been nicer or more friendly. The room was very comfortable and clean and well decorated. Well-located hotel, just steps from the central train station and the historic center. Very friendly welcome. The room is spacious, but the furniture is very dated. The garden in the center of the hotel is at your disposal: absolute tranquility. Breakfast is a semi-all-you-can-eat buffet.
