A very nice hotel with spacious rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive (there were two children at the next table who apparently didn't find anything they liked at the evening buffet... they were then asked if they would like a pancake, which they both gladly accepted and received a short time later). The indoor pool is also a good size and everything is very well maintained.
The food is delicious and there was something for everyone (meat, fish, and vegetarian options). The side dishes were also very tasty and not overcooked.
We had a wonderful few days here :-)

A great hotel near the beach. The service is excellent; all the staff are very friendly and always helpful with anything you need.
The hotel has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are very clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished.

The food unfortunately fell far short of our expectations. Many dishes seemed like they were made from frozen food; they lacked freshness, quality, and variety. Even simple dishes were often prepared without care.
Our suite was modern and spacious, but without a refrigerator – something one would expect in this category. We would like to commend the cleaning team on this point: the rooms were cleaned perfectly every day.
The pool area was also disappointing. Our loungers were dirty, and there were traces of previous guests on the white edges. We also felt it was unreasonable to charge €19 per person for sauna towels and bathrobes for the entire stay (4 days), especially when they were only used once.
The service staff in the restaurant was our biggest complaint. Many seemed unfriendly, annoyed, or inattentive – a respectful approach to guests was often lacking. The service at reception also varied greatly depending on who you encountered: from friendly and helpful to overwhelmed and unmotivated.
Honestly, we don't know where all the positive reviews come from. Surely something can't go wrong every single day – or is it simply that we're too young for this hotel and it's geared more towards older guests? We could give you plenty of examples, but that would be going too far.

A very clean hotel with friendly staff and excellent cuisine. They also prepare special dishes for guests with allergies or similar dietary needs if the buffet doesn't offer anything suitable. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms are, as far as I can tell, wheelchair accessible. In my opinion, the value for money is very good. We felt very comfortable.

The location and surroundings of the hotel are very good. The beach, Ahlbeck town center, bike rentals, and various cafes are all within easy walking distance, and with the Usedom Card, the bus is also an attractive option for reaching more distant places like the thermal baths or the treetop walkway.
Furthermore, the location is extremely quiet, apart from some stormy weather, perfect for people who want peace and quiet.
The rooms are generally average. For a 3-star hotel, everything you need is there, and it's clean, too. The only special feature: the spacious, walk-in shower.
The beds are rather hard, as in most hotels, but I consider that rather standard.
The hotel description mentions an indoor pool and a sauna, but both are practically forgettable. In summer, it might be okay to jump into a 16-degree cold pool, but you could also jump into the Baltic Sea, which is 300 meters away.
The sauna is designed for about 8 people, but there are only 5 loungers available in the relaxation room (and according to the hotel, that's for up to 140 guests). I couldn't find a spot twice and had to drag myself up two floors to my room and then go back down for another round.
The staff is, well... I don't know how else to describe it. Want an example?
At dinner, you have to register, and then, according to them, you're "seated," even though you can choose your own seat. Neither of these options worked, as you're just checked off a list and then you find a seat, assuming it's set... sure.
The service gap is real, because after the first drink in the evening, you only get to pay, and even then you have to wait quite a long time, as it seems to be fashionable to wait until two or three tables want to pay so you don't have to walk around as much.
Room cleaning consists of changing towels and wiping. Changing bed linen? I don't know if this is done after a week; we were only there for four days.
So, all in all, 3 out of 5 stars, because the location and surroundings seem very idyllic (at least in October).

Es war ein rundum schöner Urlaub. Das Hotel ist nur zu empfehlen, sehr schöne Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Essen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!! Herzlichen Dank nochmals an das Personal. Familie Kummer

Das Hotel liegt sehr nah an der Ostsee. Ein Katzensprung und wir konnten einen Strandspaziergang machen.
Parkplätze waren für eine kleine Gebühr zu mieten.
Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und gemütlich. Wir konnten es auch schon vor der Eincheckzeit beziehen.
Auf diesem Weg auch noch einmal DANKE für die nette Überraschung zu meinem Geburtstag.

After the basic renovation that was done in the Corona period, the house has become super nice. We had a room with a terrace. Parking spaces are given by number. Fixed places for meals. Table times are very good. Staff super friendly and helpful. A small path to the beach maybe 200 meters. We were here for the first time and not the last time.

Accommodation is wonderful rooms wonderful service the bar is supposed to be open until 10 p.m. where you can have a few drinks at 9 p.m. they were charged and sent to bed you couldn’t even see the end of the football game from the World Cup on December 13th today in the Reception asked, you are sorry, you have to go somewhere else, we drove here to go on vacation and you have to give at least the possibility that you can somehow have drinks in the house until 10 p.m Guests very unfriendly because after all we are on vacation here, you can't understand that and I found the response from the reception this morning outrageous
