It's fine. I'm not sure if they technically meet the criteria for a three star hotel, and if they do they are edging it very closely, but we had a few very pleasant days in this hotel and I wouldn't mind coming again.

Overall, it's a good decision. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious.

The location is perfectly fine if you're willing to walk a bit – about ten minutes to the beach.

The only downside is the double beds. They're actually two single beds pushed together. I personally don't like that very much. However, for a few nights, it's not a problem. Of course, I only know what it's like in one room. There might be proper double beds available elsewhere.

A lovely hotel.

Comfortably furnished rooms.

Box-spring bed, TV, and small bathroom.

We slept well.

Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection and lots of small, bite-sized pieces, so you don't have to pile your plate high to leave uneaten.

Excellent hot filter coffee served in pots.

Very friendly staff.

We have absolutely no complaints.

Please keep up the good work.

A pleasant little hotel, about a 10-minute walk from Döse beach. The hotel has rooms of various sizes; we had a small room with a comfortable box-spring bed. The location is nice and quiet, so we could leave the window open at night. The breakfast room is bright, and the buffet offered everything we like. Everything was beautifully presented on platters, with yogurt and jam served in large bowls. This meant there was no unnecessary waste from small portion packs, which we really appreciated. The efficient kitchen staff constantly replenished the buffet. There was fresh scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, various rolls and breads, cheese, cold cuts, quark, honey, Nutella, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, muesli, and you couldn't possibly eat more than you already had. There is free parking at the hotel and a free public parking lot directly opposite. The owner and staff were very friendly, and we will definitely book here again when we spend a week's holiday in Cuxhaven. We found the price for the double room including breakfast to be pleasantly reasonable for Cuxhaven.

I found this hotel one of the bests in cuxhaven. Kind staffs, great reception and in a very good location near to the beach. I would definitely go there again and I would highly recommend for others.
