This year, for the fourth time, I rented one of the beautifully equipped apartments at Duhner Strandhus for a getaway on the North Sea coast. Twice in previous years, I chose apartment S306 (3rd floor, west-facing), and then twice S302, which is also on the 3rd floor, northwest-facing, and located directly below the penthouse level where the breakfast buffet is served. Apartment S302 offers both a partial and direct view of the North Sea, along with a corner balcony.

The apartment is designed for two people and equipped with all the amenities for a relaxing holiday. Those who prefer to cook for themselves will find a two-burner ceramic cooktop, a microwave, cooking utensils, a coffee maker, a kettle, dishes, and more. The refrigerator with a freezer compartment also provides ample storage space.

Personally, I always prefer the breakfast buffet, which is served from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. on the 4th floor with a magnificent sea view. For €9.90 per person, there's a great selection of food, and two fully automatic coffee machines offer coffee specialties for every taste. A wide variety of teas is also available, and water and juices are readily provided.

Before I ramble on any further, just take a look at the pictures, and you'll get an impression of "my" apartment, S302. The apartment also includes a parking space in the underground garage, which I haven't photographed. This is a huge advantage, as you can easily transport your luggage upstairs by elevator—and back down again, of course.

What I absolutely must emphasize, however, is the completely professional handling of the booking by Hamer Ferienappartements, whose office is located right next door.

Yes, I can highly recommend this accommodation. The breakfast was perfect; they left nothing to be desired. The apartments are bright, welcoming, and comfortable. Thank you so much for having us as your guests.

The location was great, Breakfast always fresh and a very nice staff. The room was super clean, nothing to complain about. However, we found that the beds were a bit too soft and the residents from the building next door directly into the room/ on the terrace/balcony could watch. In addition, the ventilation in the bathroom was quite loud.
Nevertheless, we would come back again!

The equipment of our room was great. The move to the other room worked out great..The ventilation in the bathroom was very loud and there was an unpleasant smell in the room.The Breakfast was every day the Same, but you could eat every day something different. A bit of variety to the sausage and fruit that we had hoped for.The staff at Breakfast and in the reception was very friendly.We would love to come again and will recommend your house.

Modern and spacious room with good facilities. Beautiful view and a very good Breakfast. We were very satisfied.

Beautiful rooms!

The apartment (3rd floor) is beautiful. Sleeping, living and kitchen are ideally solved in a relatively small space. From the bed, from the living area and from the dining table you have a view of the sea - a dream. The bathroom is modern. There could be a little more storage space for care and cosmetic products in the bathroom.
On the 4th floor is a cozy breakfast room, also with a view of the sea. The breakfast is great for the price, we didn't miss anything. The staff there is extremely friendly.
We will come back!

Breakfast very good with very good coffee and plenty, rolls from the bakery. The rooms are very clean, the swimming pool is sufficient, even the sauna could be used despite the energy crisis. Lovely again
