I/we were very satisfied. The friendliness and service were excellent. The room was a bit too small. The bathroom could also be bigger. But it was still okay. The hotel's location is good. However, the distances to restaurants are quite long. We felt very comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice Hotel with an good bar

A lovely little hotel, more than ample breakfast with very friendly staff and very clean. This is the place to stay if you're coming to Cuxhaven.

Very nice place right behind the water embarkment. The rooms have a nice design and the view to the sea is great! Breakfast is delicious!

A nice Hotel, with super views of the river Elbe, small, but very clean rooms. The staff is knowledgeable, super nice and helpful. We will definitely come back again.

Excellent Hotel for a short stay in Cuxhaven. Walkable distances to attractions and the habor. Several Restaurants and the museum in walking distance. Besides the kitchen the hotel doesn't offer any other amenities so you might want to look around if you are planning to stay longer.

Very nice traditional style hotel, well located on the old harbor section of Cuxhaven (Heinrich Heine's "Alte Liebe"). A very good team brillantly managed by Tim... Nice and cosy for all kind of sejour (trip or vacation). Two thumbs up!

For the Beach-House Apartments... Modern, well-equipped and spacious apartments at a fair price. Well located. Very attentive and helpful staff (specially Britta and Tim). It really is an excellent option for those looking for a family apartment, even for long stays.

Short family vacation We had a great, short family vacation. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and very clean, and the food in the restaurant delicious. The only bummer was that the pool wasn't open. There is an ice cream parlor and a small shop in walking distance, and it was just a short walk to the beach, too. We would stay again!

Nice hotel great for biking and walking directly on the sea

The staffthere are extreamly helpful. One of our bag was left behind and they did everything to help us retrieve it.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Wehrburg in Cuxhaven. The hotel is very charming, clean, and comfortable, with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. We really liked the hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful. A lot of effort is put into the buffet and there is a huge selection. The location is also ideal: 3 minutes to the beach and about 3 minutes to the nearest restaurants. The rooms are cozy and nicely furnished. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back! :)

The beds were not comfortable at all. Both me and my family said they were too small and rather hard. The booking itself was also chaotic. We got the wrong confirmation multiple times. The breakfast was rather expensive compared to what we had and how things were set up.

We stayed here for one night before our trip to Helgoland. The next morning, we couldn’t get a taxi, but the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and managed to book one for us early in the morning. Excellent service—highly appreciated! Five stars!
