Stayed in Pentahotel Eisenach as a stopover hotel for traveling back to NL. The staff is very friendly and helpful

As in all Penta hotels we visited, excellent mattresses, clean rooms, nice young staff. Breakfast is very good, very varied. overall good👌 The only downside is far from the center. We couldn't get out of the car

Amazing time , we loved the Porsche decoration , and to top it , they had a classic Porsche meeting the day of our stay! We will def stay again , when we are back in Germany! Super centric as well, so you can stop by on a long drive !

Good location, near a lot of restaurants. I stayed in a single room and it was big. Old fashion room but clean and new. Bathroom was big and with good ammenities. I would stay again.

Has Aircon NO KETTLE! Shower pressure is good, but the toilet is positioned so that it's awkward to sit on. There is a launderette round the corner, if needed

Found this by chance on the internet,If you are arriving by train you'd be best advised to get a taxi(if you have a serious amount of luggage). Reminded me of the small family run hotels that I went to as a child

The Bauernschnitzel was excellent. Alban and Beate from the service team are making a big difference and make you feel like you're home. But all the staff we met were super friendly

I was on a business trip and used this hotel for an overnight. The room was quite big and good. The location of the hotel was also a good walking distance to restaurants

It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room too. The hotel restaurant had good food but it would have been better if it wasn't an open buffet style

I used an outside restaurant instead of this hotel as they don't have good beer options. Parking was available but almost full so a bit of struggle in that part

Would like to start off with the room. First impression was that it was clean and modern looking. The only issue was in the bathroom where the mirror was. It was not over the sink and there was only one electrical outlet

We visited the Göbel's Sophien Hotel shortly before Christmas. The room was modern and clean, staff was oustandingly friendly and helpful, and the Breakfast and Dinner were delicious

Went there for a wedding. The food and service were excellent. The location is amazingly located. WiFi coverage is also very good. The rooms are not oversized but comfortable and very clean.

The view toward Wartburg castle overwhelming! Summary: The perfect place! Before the Corona shutdown: One week ago: Food was excellent, service pretty mediocre and not very friendly, room overheated! We were offered a really dangerous small table while the room was almost empty!

Mai 2020: We attended yesterday again - for the first time after the (first?) Corona-shutdown - the restaurant. Sitting in the bright sunshine on the terrace we enjoyed the excellent meal

Very delicious food with an awesome view to Wartburg castle and Burschenschaft monument. Specially for sunny days a nice spot to sit outside at the terrace. Medium to high price category.

We stayed in the family unit with two small bedrooms/lounge with a bed sharing our own spacious bathroom. The host was very friendly and welcoming. We didn't use the breakfast option. We enjoyed our stay.

It is in a convenient, quiet neighborhood, and it’s easy to walk to attractions in Eisenach and to the bus stop for Wartburg castle

There was a guest book in the room too, a nice touch!

Great Stay! The quality and cleanliness of the hotel property in general and our room in particular were excellent. The room comfort was great, but on a somewhat hot July day air conditioning would have made it perfect

The included breakfast was excellent and we had dinner the night before and the authentic German meals were reasonably priced and VERY flavorable. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The size of room is larger than a standard European room and we were very happy to have 2 large size doubles for my wife and 15 yr old son. Breakfast was massive European style and quality was superb

Also there are limited hours for the reception and if you think you will even be close to showing up after 7pm local time, reach out and coordinate how to get room access

You just don't find that kind of service anymore. There's also a large games room for all ages, as well as billiards and foosball. Breakfast is good and prepared with care. Lunch and dinner are not served

The owner acts as a hostess and goes out of her way to accommodate everyone. We were there with a small group during the Christmas season, and the entire hotel was tastefully decorated for Christmas

While showing its age a little, it impresses with its attention to detail. Everything is spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff (the owner herself works here) are so friendly and attentive to guests

We ordered some combinations of ingredients to get a meal for our kids and very much tried to get that on our table. Disadvantage is not being able to pay with cards and the closest atm is a 10 min drive by car

A good hotel with simple booking conditions and easy access. It was particularly suitable for a stopover.

The room had everything we needed, and we slept very well. Check-in was flexible via a key box, and check-out was also seamless. We will definitely come back

Great - very idyllic, newly renovated, small forest hotel with a beautiful bowling alley. The house is very comfortably furnished and the rooms are new and very clean. The Christmas dinner was very tasty

Middle in the centrum, Parking lot is available. The rooms are really big, many of the even with cooking place, refrigator, water Boiler. All rooms are very clean, and the staff is very polite

Check-in stops at 6pm, so if you arrive after, you'll have to go round the back to call a number. Bit weird but other than that great room. BEWARE! You CANNOT see the castle from the hotel

"Castle View" is just clipbait! Nevertheless, the old part of the town is not far away. Gotha is beautiful and definitely worth a visit

Stayed in a Junior Suite which had a large living space, bathroom & bedroom. The bar has had a recent refurbishment - nice outdoor terrace to enjoy a drink or food

A cozy and nice hotel in the middle of the town. Soundproofing is good so outside noises are nicely blocked out. A good amount of space in the room and the room prices are not bad.

Breakfast was a bit expensive at €13 each: selection is very good but we really only wanted cereal and there was no option for a smaller breakfast

We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool

An ideal place to come in the winter if you love winter sports such as sking and sleding etc. The nearness to Rennsteig makes it even more suitable for a variety of activities

We did not feel comfortable there, and room was relatively expensive. Therefore we drove back to the reception to ask for a room at the main hotel. In the reception they claimed that we had booked a room in the cottage

We did some bowling in the sporthotel and it was no problem to rent a sledge for our baby. We can recommend this Hotel and the holiday homes to other guest's a lot

Wunderful short trip in the winterwunderland. We rented two of the holiday homes. They were very beautiful and clean with a lot of space for all our friends

The bathroom is weirdly laid out, you have to sot at an angle on the toilet, the shower cubicle is like an airport toilet, and the decor (inc. throughout the hotel would of been out of date in the 1990s)

The walls between rooms are very thin, to the point where you can follow conversations clearly that are happening next door, when people are just talking to each other

A great getaway stay for some quiet in the mountain forest. It was full of snow and fog when we stayed there but even then, we could see that it would be beautiful in summer. It's romantic in its rustic way

More than enough storage wardrobe space for belongings and shoes. The rooms also come with a long shared balcony, so I imagine spring and summer, it is really nice staying here
