Familie hotel. Pool is not very clean but big. There is a safe guard present. It is a big hotel and to liitle staff. If you want to an order a drink you have to wait 30 min. because there are to may guest and not enough waiters. Perhaps nice for family with kids but not for business

Very well-kept hotel with very friendly service and a good range of wellness options. I also really enjoyed the food...so it was definitely worth it. The furnishings and rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but in a very pleasant way. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Too many options for kids. Food quality good. Vegan and veggie options available for breakfast and dinner but not for lunch. No mini bar in room which was not good as we had two kids and could not store the milk in fridge, rooms are not of great quality, no ac available. no prams available for babies which was really bad for us as we had a 3 months old.

Good old fashion East German hotel! It very easy to come and good for people with children. Resonoble prices. You can do different kinds of sports!

The Hotel is great there are 2 restaurants and a pool and also a playground and a goat farm. There are many cool activities to do.

We stayed at the hotel during the Biathlon World Cup. Comfortable rooms, balanced and delicious food in the restaurant, the room was cleaned daily. I liked that there is a gym, sauna, swimming pool. In general, the stay was successful. The staff speaks little English. There was one incident at a children's attraction. The animator couldn't take control. Parents and grandparents took over and as a result my children were made to cry three times. It was sad.

Rooms are clean and food in restaurants is good. Hotel is a little bit older and a carpet in the rooms are not appropriate anymore.

I had a good experience at Leonardo Hotel. A little far from the city centre, but perfectly connected with bus no. 1. The bed was very comfortable. I would only suggest adding some English channels/the possibility of adding English subtitles on TV for non-German speakers. I loved the free drink for not changing my towels for a short stay, and the beer at the bar was amazing. The personnel I dealt with...

Very nice hotel. no AC in the rooms so not sure what they do during summer. The surrounding area is awesome. Pets are allowed. Very clean, great breakfast.

Very unfriendly, very aloof. The hotel's decor is somewhat reminiscent of the GDR era. The beer from the vending machine could only be removed with considerable force.

I was in the room with city view. The rooms are very small and little claustrophobic. The city view is excellent. The breakfast was good. The reception staff were excellent. The hotel is very good if you are planning to stay for 2 or 3 days in Erfurt

The staff were all exceptionally friendly from reception, to breakfast, and even the cleaning staff. And the facilities were modern, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Would stay there again.

While the location is unbeatable and the views are stunning, the rooms are average at most, mattresses are ok, cushions are super thin and not really usable. We signed up for the buffet dinner at EUR 29 including drinks. Pretty expensive for what we actually got: Worst buffet I´ve seen in a long time, meat was dry, the Spaetzle and rice were tasteless. The Ringberghotel high above Suhl is an impressive building, worth a visit just for its open location! Panoramic views, clean and functional rooms. The food tasted great, the service was friendly and polite. Despite the Corona requirements, the guest feels comfortable and is happy to return!

Very beautiful hotel in retro-style furnishings with pictures like Merlin Monroe or Humphrey Bogart. The rooms are big and it's quiet because it's not in the center. Every time the same breakfast but it's yummy and everyone can find something.

Absolutely fine for a work trip. The location is somewhat strange (the end of a 1980s commie block), but walking distance from Jenoptik campus or the university hospital. Good breakfast, clean, though a bit dated and some slight lack of maintenance shows here and there on carpets / isolation.

The room is a bit old and no air conditioning . Receptionist was very helpful and courteous. Value and convenient for 1 night stay after driving along the highway and you will want to stay over for a night before continuing your drive the next day.

A good and quiet hotel to stay!

I didn’t find a tea and coffee machine in the room, and the refrigerator didn’t work either. Otherwise, I liked it here.

Unfortunately, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke in the room, and we had to air it out for quite a long time. The breakfasts were excellent. Varied and high quality. The room interior is designed in the style of the GDR/Soviet era, which can be seen as a distinctive atmospheric feature of the hotel and part of its historical context

Slightly dated looking furnishings but the rooms were lovely and comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the beds were great. Spacious parking area, surrounded by green. Great place to spend the night on a longer trip.

The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good, with fresh fruit (orange, pineapple, grapefruit, and melon). The decor is dated and quite worn, but everything is well-maintained and clean.

The hotel was very good, we have no comments about that, we also found it very nice that we could order a complete meal late at night. In short, everyone in the hotel did their best to please us. A downside is the connection to public transport to the center, that could have been better.. If we are in the area, Best Western will definitely be considered again Freundliche Grüße,

Very good hotel in Jena. I stayed during my business trip. The building is slightly old but the rooms were clean. The room was fully equipped with kitchenette, coffee maker and TV. There is a sauna in the hotel. Reception Staff was very friendly and helpful. With the hotel card public transport is free. Downtown can be reached with tram in approx 15 minutes. There is huge parking lot outside the hotel...

I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel and had an exceptional experience. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay, offering a wide variety of delicious and fresh options each morning. It was the perfect way to start my day. Additionally, I had an unfortunate incident where I left some clothes in the cabinet after checking out. 3-3.5 stars would be fair. The room was rather large and the bathroom/shower were decent. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but not bad for a 1-2 night stay. The AC wasn’t working properly. Thankfully I stayed there in the fall, so it didn’t get too warm. The staff members were all rather pleasant.

Nice New hotel. It's fine for a night. The HDMI ports on the TV are blocked so can't use streaming device. Also, no provision to cast or mirror from phone so only TV provided by hotel. Real bummer about that.

The hotel is located in an exhibition area in Erfurt, next to a large supermarket and a small Vietnamese restaurant. There is an S-Bahn station in front of the hotel. Parking spaces are available at the hotel for a fee. The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, but several of the service staff in the restaurant did not seem particularly friendly...

Very nice and quiet location close to sights and parks. Very nice breakfast. We spent three days in Weimar to se the Goethe Wohnhaus, Bauhaus Museum etc. We did not use bar or restaurant- instead, we tried restaurants nearby - traditional German restaurant, modern hipster-style Vietnamese burger restaurant, modern European restaurant...so much to choose from in Weimar...

Excellent service The front desk staff was great and showed patience with us as we toured Weimar. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. No coffee service unless you get the full breakfast. Pricey but convenient. Hotel does having garage parking for daily fee but is convenient.

The property was very nice, felt like living in the era of Goethe! The park in front of it was amazing and being so close to the old town was a huge plus. Parking is just in front of the hotel. There was a Syrian guy at the reception who was incredibly friendly and professional!

I havent often come across this kind of costumer service and hospitality in germany. This hotel is exceptional both for location, cleanness, facilities and for their hospitality.

The Mercure Hotel is conveniently located, but it's an older hotel. It's a standard 4-star hotel with parking available for 25 euros per night, which is very convenient.

While we were there the hotel was under construction. It was also extremely hot. There is no air conditioning in the hotel. We were damned if we did and damned if we didn't. Noise or die from the heat....we went with the heat.

The real stand-out was the breakfast. It had absolutely everything, including champagne. The staff were generally friendly, although we did overhear a conversation where one member of staff was the opposite of friendly. Otherwise, staff were just wonderful. This is a unique hotel in its elegance and sophisticated art deco style down to the smallest detail. Everything is of the highest quality - and just feels natural.

Hi Location (10/10) is perfect so is heritage building. It has charm and we are glad that management did a good job to incorporate it perfectly. Staff is little not to the standard. Missing professionalism at front desk where hospitality takes over policies. Management allow front desk (7/10) to show more welcoming. i can sense that they missed that we are a family to enjoy town not for a business...

The room was a little small, but that makes sense because it is an old building. The service was great, especially for someone who doesn't speak German. There was a Christmas fair right across the street, which was so fun, and there were so many options for great food within walking distance. Also, there was super easy parking as well.

Suhl sounds like a good name for an evil wizard. The best hotel stay I've had in ages. Nothing fancy, but everything just worked as it should. You need your chip to work the lift. That slowed me down a minute but i am not a smart man.

Young boy, I am stranded here because I had a flat tire. Price performance is okay but not great. I don't know when my bathroom mirror was last cleaned in my room, but maybe too high standards for you who knows. When you took a shower there were still any names on the mirror that you could see about the condensation / steam that of course makes me think how clean the rest is ... One should definitely...

Amazing time , we loved the Porsche decoration , and to top it , they had a classic Porsche meeting the day of our stay! We will def stay again , when we are back in Germany! Super centric as well, so you can stop by on a long drive !

The room was nice and new, with towels but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The restaurant was on the first floor, and there was nothing much to eat for breakfast, just a few slices of bread with some jam and fruit.

Reception: I think the reception here should be the most expansive of all hotels I’ve stayed - so much love it. It gives a kinda ‘grand style’ welcome to you as you enter. We had a lovely stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the hotel and Weimar in general. We took a larger room, which was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is perfect and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Exceptional breakfast. Great value.

I basically write this review to complain that the fitness room is total crap, but except for that it was a nice stay. Not my style of deco but the comfort was there and the breakfast was delicious. If it had been two people in the room, it would‘ve lacked a space to comfortably open the second suitcase.

This hotel is not the most modern or fancy we have seen but it is clean, rooms are good, location is excellent, breakfast and bar very good and staff very accommodating - so what more do you need? We liked it and give our recommendations.

Clean and decent hotel, well situated with walking distance to town centre. Loved the little frozen lake that I could see from the window. Quiet town, visiting in February wasn’t the turist moment.

The bed, which you couldn't really call a bed, was a daybed with a thick mattress on top. It wobbled and slipped; two of my colleagues fell off it and landed on the floor. We had booked four single rooms, and in all of them, the towel rails were hanging loosely on the wall.

Hotel is very well located for travellers that visit Weimar by train - just directly opposite station exit. However, the hotel rooms are basic: small bath towels, only one soap dispenser for hand wash and anther dispenser with combined shampoo and body wash. There is no toothbrush/toothpaste provided, not even a bottle of water for drinking. The drainage of shower cabin was clogged and I nearly flooded...

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Located oposite the central station. 10 min walk to the city center. There are some good restaurants near hotel. Room was clean and large. Somehow, it was a little too warm inside the room, despite of 18 celsius outside and heating being off. There is no free parking. During my 4 nights stay room was not cleaned at all.

The hotel is located opposite the small square of the train station, making travel convenient. The hotel has a long history and the facilities are well maintained. When checking in, the hotel proactively informed us that room cleaning would not be provided (probably because of Sunday), and for this reason, each person was given a bar drink coupon as compensation. The location right at the station is great, the Hotel is set in a nice building and while some elements of the Hotel are clearly rather dated, it is all very well cared for. Service was quick and polite so, combined with the good pricing this hotel is a perfect choice for a quick stay in Weimar.

Great hotel. Stayed in a Junior Suite which had a large living space, bathroom & bedroom. The bar has had a recent refurbishment - nice outdoor terrace to enjoy a drink or food. Room to hot, not aircondition or fan

Superb location- five minutes to schloss and Herzog Museum and old town on foot. Park is across the street. Overnight parking on street and a great base to travel to Eisennach or Bad Langersaltz by car. Highly recommend

Such a fantqstic experience staying at this hotel. The staff were very very friendly, well turned out, happy and genuinely happy in their work. My wife and Ibfelt totally at home, and we are already planning our return.

Great location by the castle, the castle park, and within easy walking distance of shopping and dining. The breakfast is excellent. We also really enjoyed the dinner options.

Top hotel with lots of attention to detail and I can only recommend it. From the outside the hotel looks relatively normal, but then... then comes a big "wow". The location, facilities, room size, restaurant, nothing was missing. Even though we only chose one night, it was enough to say: we'll be back.

Well, mostly better then Italians hotels but much lower standard then in UK or in Poland. No fridge in the room, no even kettle to do tea or coffee. Sauna is to expensive for guests. Food average.

Nothing pretentious about this hotel. It gave a very good overnight stop with an excellent evening meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom and corridors were rather dated. I would guess it was built in the 1970s but there was absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. Quite close to the railway station and tram stop. I would certainly stay here again.
