Nice modern hotel, stayed here once before to meet a friend who study’s in Esslingen. It’s approx 20 mins walk to the train station but close to bus stops. Rooms are a good size and the bed is comfy.

It's very close to the city center, which is very convenient.

The hotel is a bit old; it used to have a different name, but it was renovated and is now a simple business hotel. There's a restaurant downstairs with a limited menu, so it's not very appealing. You can try other restaurants nearby. There's a parking lot downstairs, but it's not part of the hotel and costs €14 per night. Great hotel, great location. Asked for tea bags and was told they have no tea bags minor issue). I told reception that we were checking out at midday. I got back to the room at 10.30 to find our bedroom door wide open with all our possessions inside, my wallet and passport sitting on the side and the cleaner in the bathroom. Not acceptable. Anyone could have taken my wallet and passport or our bags...

The location is good. Nearby to old town and good eatery. The breakfast is good with great selection.

Basic business hotel. Next to Lidl supermarket which is super convenient. Carpark space is quite limited, you have to park on the side of the road to check in first before you can enter the carpark.

Stylish budget hotel. No frills rooms, comfortable and clean but basic. Don't expect a full service hotel, though. The breakfast had a nice food selection, and everything we had was delicious. Great value if one wants the basics. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a good stay. Thanks for all.

The hotel is nice but could be better , no closet for the clothes, no boiler for hot drinks no mini bar as well, I gave the service 5 starts because of the receptionist Ahmed and the lady responsible for the breakfast they’re nice. Breakfast is okay.

Room: The room wasn’t very spacious, but it appeared recently renovated and was very clean. The hotel was great. I am especially grateful to the staff who allowed us to check in several hours before the usual check-in time, especially after a long night of driving. It was also a big surprise that they had put a bed and a water bowl for the dog. Thank you!

Nice and friendly Hotel with all facilities. Would be great if we also could get a bite to eat on monday evenings as well, however we found a top restaurant in Gasthaus Rössle only a small walk away.

Amazing potential at the right time of year. The hotel itself was a incredible hotel unfortunately the town was empty with no one around. The rooms are clean but extremely old fashioned. Carpet on the floors, old fittings and decoration from the 1980s. Shower cabin very small. No cleaning took place. WiFi very slow.

I stayed at this hotel for several nights while travelling on business. It was a very good experience. The staff is well trained, very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and equipped with everything necessary but a little dated in style. The restaurant is definitely of a higher standard than for an ordinary 3 star hotel imho. The cuisine has some Swabian elements and is not exactly cheap...

Stayed here with some colleagues in the beginning of November. The room was nice and modern and the breakfast was quite OK. There is a balcony overlooking Esslingen below with a fantastic view. The downside is no restaurant and no local pub. The reception closes at 18:00 and there is no seating area after that.

Very nice room, very modern and up to date. On the side of a steep hill, so driving and parking can be a little nerve racking for we Americans used to larger roads and parking lots, but still very nice.

Always a highlight. Best location in the Schurwald (forest), with great views on fields and nature, in fresh air, above the beautiful city of Esslingen. Creative shower cabin solutions (as long as one fits in).

All was fine excluding the missing air condition: room was very hot, difficult to sleep in hot days.

We spent 4 days here and really liked it. The rooms and bathroom very clean, very comfy beds, delicious breakfast and very good air-condition. The only minus was -there is no kettle , so no tea/coffee in the room. Also- parking is very tricky, not easy to park -black signs on the floor showing that more drivers have the same issue. other than that- great option for Esslingen-10min walk to the centre

I have not being staying in the hotel, just had two lunches in the restaurant. The food could only be characterized as OK. The kaesespaetzle were far from the best I've had but definitely not the worst (4/5). The turkey steak was a completely different story. Although it's about 14km outside of Stuttgart, the hotel is great all around, clean, big rooms, great staff, free parking, free wi fi, quite! Close to the Stuttgart airport, not easy to find, but it's accessable from 3 different ways, I would definitely stay here again

Good place to spend a night for a cheap price. Airplanes from the airport are not very loud. Cleaness is ok. Breakfast is very simple. With good quality food, but no scrambled eggs etc.

The staff is amazing! They went out of there way to assure that we were placed in the room we desired! They provide a very good variety for a Continental breakfast! This hotel is not in a tourist area. If you happen to be in Berkheim for any reason this is a nice place to stay!

The facility is central and you get good value for your money. Plus the green initiative seems rather nice However, I wish my bed was more to the edge of the room. My partner loved this hotel because you can see through the floor in the lobby to the water and can learn about how the hotel is powered. He also said it was the best hotel breakfast he's ever had. Was and will be back for the next half year! Stay there because of several training courses at the TAE. The single rooms are spacious and clean. Communication is also via WhatsApp, which is very relaxed for me as a young person. Also easily accessible by phone.

We (4 adults and 2 kids) stayed one night in one room at there to go to Legoland next day. The room was really clean. And breakfast was great! Especially homemade jam was really tasty. At restaurant , there was aquarium so kids didn't get bored after they finished breakfast. So adults could have nice breakfast time. Very polite and courteous staff. Rooms are comfortable and cozy, with good shower. Breakfast is very tasty, with many different options. Internet signal was weak in my room (212), but it wasn't a problem, since I could go downstairs and enjoy free Internet at the lobby. I still rate them 5 out of 5, because of their excellent service.

Very nice place. I got a room on the top floor with nice view, top floor has only 2 rooms so its a bit more cozy. Area is calm and quiet. A bit weird for me that germans use these small bed blankets, they are just too small for me.

This is a quaint hotel, not too fancy. Lovely little town near Stuttgart. The staff here is the reason for the rating. They waited on us as well as any hotel ever has. They were curtious, knew what we wanted BEFORE we even asked, and even taught me some German. For this reason, I highly recommend.

Had some bad luck. Only got a room that wasn't cleaned. That should not happen. Another room was then quickly made available to me. Hotel is right under the airport approach path, but that's not their fault. Price performance is quite ok. What they can do for, however, is that they make no effort at the breakfast buffet.
