3 star hotels in Konstanz

This wasn't our first time at this hotel, but unfortunately, the cleanliness has declined. At breakfast, some cups looked like they hadn't seen a dishwasher or weren't properly cleaned. We also noticed residues on plates and cutlery.

Customer-orientation of breakfast staff as well as afternoon/night front desk staff great. King room bed ok. Housekeeping could work better organized. Great value for prize, with breakfast and gym included.

All around pleasant experience. There’s friendly staff and nice selection at the breakfast. The main downside is the location. It’s quite far away from the center. However, you can get free public transport tickets at the reception, and the bus to the city center stops right infront of the hotel. Therefore the location isn’t a big issue.

There was a large spiderweb in the room, the curtains were stained, and there was a dead spider. The towels didn't smell fresh. The staff couldn't speak German, and their English was heavily accented, making it hard to understand.

Great proximity to car rental. It's located in an industrial area, but there are plenty of dining options and a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was good, though the Western options were quite basic. Rooms are a bit small. Keep windows shut to avoid bugs. Despite its roadside location, it was surprisingly quiet.

Great location, walking distance from the lake and the old city. Bus and tram stops are very near, so using public transport is easy. There is a big underground parking. Very clean and price was very good. What we liked most was that the hotel was close to the old town. Check-out was until 12 o'clock so you can get some sleep next day. The reception staff was very friendly, there is a secured garage for cars under the hotel, it costs 13 euros for 24 hours, very affordable. I recommend this hotel to everyone, and for my next visit to Konstanz, I will definitely stay...

The hotel is in a great location for the price. It's only a 12 minute walk from Konstanz-Petershausen station, right on the Rhine River, and a pleasant walk to the Old Town. The room was clean and modern. The staff are friendly. There was a wide variety of delicious and healthy options for breakfast. I would stay here again.

Nice spacious rooms, newly refurbished and stylish, nice reception desk. They're still not completely done with the refurbishment but have done their best to accommodate the guests as much as possible. Staff was polite, but a bit bizarre in behaviour (foreign students?). Parking is available underground, you have to pay. Sorry, I couldn't manage the online TV & couldn't watch any television.

Second worse experience with a stay in Constance - after Ibis Budget last year. Good location when using public transportation. Room not clean after check in. At check in front desk woman said there is no room free anymore. I needed to complain a lot. Housekeeping just did the job at 3rd day! Mr. Mentor was amazing. The hotel was generally good, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, there were some inconveniences. There was no kettle or water boiler in the room, so I had to go down to the lobby every time I wanted coffee or tea. In the evening, the coffee machine area was closed, and I had to ask the reception to open it. Sometimes the staff were not available or were busy, which made it difficult....

Everything was great, making for an stress-free visit to Bern.

Really good stay: nice room and good location (next to the bus stop Neuwerk). The hotel also provides the Bodensee Gastekarte, which can be used for public transportation. Only issue was with a dirty towel, but hotel staff was able to give me another one.

In its favour, the hotel is extremely well situated, a couple of minutes from the train station and 3 minutes from the centre. It’s clean and modern. Part from that, nothing special. Rather unfriendly.  Average breakfast. No kettle to make  tea and coffee in the bedroom. Snacks and drinks in the minibar overpriced.

The hotel’s location is very central for the shopping area and the lake, however it didn’t feel part of a noisy location. The room was comfortable, we were a family of four using the sofa bed. Air condition was the important thing which was missing in the room. Ambient temperature was 34 degrees.

The room (303) was just perfect. It was spacious, the toilet was big, with a huge window for very good ventilation. The only knock was the small/inconvenient shower. But with a nice and cosy balcony overlooking the main street the room was just perfect. Their breakfast was a mediocre 6/10 but the seating area/space is really nice.

Exceptional hotel. Close to the car ferry. Very clean and quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room includes a buss pass making it easy to get around and explore the beautiful surroundings. I loved waking up to the sunrise over the lake and watching the evening sky settle over the water. The parking was also easy. I appreciated the breakfast simple and delicious.

Our stay was short- only two nights but our room was nice with a balcony and an amazing view of the lake! The complimentary breakfast was very good with lots to choose from and great staff. The Hotel has age which we liked and didnt detract from our stay. Definitely recommend

Nice with a caveat Nice hotel in a bustling area near the ferry dock. Very nice breakfast buffet (included), and a cool seafood store/restaurant next door. A bit loud due to the number of boaters, walkers and bicyclists that frequent the area. Parking situation is quite poor... had to hunt down a spot on neighborhood streets.

Lovely stay The staff made our stay very pleasant. We were in a suite, with a great view over Bodensee. The suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.

Very convenient for ferry (right next door). Room was on back (west) side of building - very hot with no AC. Opening the window meant bringing in noise and lights from street. Had a hard time sleeping.

The bed is very comfortable. The rooms are rather too warm. The rooms are simply designed. The rooms are clean. We were there over the New Year. The New Year's dinner was very good. It's a shame that the staff doesn't speak German well. We poured the wine ourselves. Didn't have everything on the menu in stock. Personally, I was missing that certain something, the room was so empty and loveless.

Amazing one night stay in this hotel! Large and comfy bedroom, kind and helpful staff, great location close to center, and the pub downstairs very nice with vegan/veggies options. Don't hesitate!

The A/C noise is my ONLY complaint. There's a system that many of the rooms have that have A/C units that every minute or so buzz very loudly. Like the door buzzing when someone lets you into their old apartment building. I'm not picky and can sleep through a lot. This noise is loud. My friends room was 15 and ours was 23, both had that issue. They were very friendly though and switched us to a room...

It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Otherwise you have to park further away and take a bus to the hotel....

A nice cosy place conveniently located 10 minutes away from the city centre and Bahnof. Has an Irish pub in the ground floor but you need to book in advance I suppose as there is never a place there...

Perfect location, but rooms are small and prices high. Too high. The team is fantastic, engaged, fussing over guests, specifically at breakfast.

Lovely decor and location - impersonal service I assume that this place operates in a different way in Winter and Summer because the restaurant and reception were closed during our stay and it was very unclear whether they were operating a breakfast service or not. I did not realise when I booked that the reception is (apparently) only staffed until 6pm. I emailed the hotel to say we would be later...

Staff here was really amazing and friendly. The building is lovely and interesting, and the location on the water always has something interesting going on during the summer.

Very romantic hotel situated along the border of the lake. A five minutes walk to the center of the town along the typical and beautiful villas from the beginning of the 20th century. Parking is free in front of the hotel. Very nice welcome and super friendly staff. Highly recommended. Do check out the local Italian restaurant next doors in the casino, very nice indeed also.
