This hotel is a short bus ride from the Konstanz train station, in a quiet harbor on the Bodensee. We got one of the double rooms with a balcony and view of the lake and marina. (The sunrise view across the lake was otherworldly in its beauty.) The room was spacious and very comfortable.

The excellent restaurant served local fish and other dishes, and was one of the highlights of our stay. Breakfast was also delightful.

The front desk was very helpful, and gave us e-bikes and directions for the area, including the nearby Mainau Island, a not-to-be-missed nature preserve.

Exceptional hotel. Close to the car ferry. Very clean and quiet. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room includes a buss pass making it easy to get around and explore the beautiful surroundings. I loved waking up to the sunrise over the lake and watching the evening sky settle over the water. The parking was also easy. I appreciated the breakfast simple and delicious.

Our stay was short- only two nights but our room was nice with a balcony and an amazing view of the lake! The complimentary breakfast was very good with lots to choose from and great staff. The Hotel has age which we liked and didnt detract from our stay. Definitely recommend

Nice with a caveat
Nice hotel in a bustling area near the ferry dock. Very nice breakfast buffet (included), and a cool seafood store/restaurant next door. A bit loud due to the number of boaters, walkers and bicyclists that frequent the area. Parking situation is quite poor... had to hunt down a spot on neighborhood streets.

Lovely stay
The staff made our stay very pleasant. We were in a suite, with a great view over Bodensee. The suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of options.

Being near to the Bodensee is the only thing this hotel got going for it. The floors were dirty, the interior was old, no AC (and that in the 30C heat!). The breakfast is very expensive and there were almost no vegan options or even fresh fruit/veggies. Would not go there again and would not recommend anyone staying here.

Very convenient for ferry (right next door). Room was on back (west) side of building - very hot with no AC. Opening the window meant bringing in noise and lights from street. Had a hard time sleeping.

The bed is very comfortable. The rooms are rather too warm. The rooms are simply designed. The rooms are clean. We were there over the New Year. The New Year's dinner was very good. It's a shame that the staff doesn't speak German well. We poured the wine ourselves. Didn't have everything on the menu in stock. Personally, I was missing that certain something, the room was so empty and loveless.

- very large room with a great view of Lake Constance - friendly and courteous staff - good restaurant with a few small refinements - price-performance OK - don't forget dust and cobwebs in the rooms when cleaning 😊 Conclusion: Everyone is doing their best - for one 3 star hotel very good

We only stayed one night but overall the hotel did not meet expectations: first of all the room was supposed to be a Superior type A and instead we were assigned a standard one (in the end we accepted a discount on the payment given the impossibility of changing it); the rooms with carpet and dated furniture did not feel clean. Only the bathroom (particularly small) has been renovated. We had to request toiletries which were just basic. The breakfast room also needs renovation (for example, it is not pleasant to sit on a stained chair), breakfast was fine. In conclusion, in our opinion, the price paid is too high compared to the product supplied.

A surprisingly great place! Service extremely friendly, food was delicious! Toilets are very clean. We had airy meatballs homemade with sensational spaetzle and a pepper sauce in a jug - spicy and super spicy. A lush salad with whitefish fillet fried in butter with almonds. We felt very comfortable in the "ship's hull" and will definitely be back!

This is a husband and wife owned and operated restaurant. The menu changes often. When I went, they were shipping in a pinkel sausage that was served with another bratwurst, creamed kale, a slice of ham, and boiled potatoes. The dish was excellent! I'm still dreaming of that pinkel.

We were a party of three. Each of us had a drink, we started with two cups of soup, and we all ordered the pinkel dish. We shared one dessert too. I think the total was only 70€.

The food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. If you are in this area, you absolutely must visit Kajüte!

Great place, small seasonal menu, local cuisine, good wine selection.cosey atmosphere. Gets busy very fast as there arr only a few tables in the restaurant. Closed in july and august, it is not a place for sunny summer weather anyway. But during the remainig 10 months first choice in this neighborhood. Reasonable prices.
