Food and staff were great. However there was no air conditioning in the room and no fans either. You couldn’t sit outside in the evening to cool off because of the mosquitoes. So slept very poorly. The sheets have wool in them which made it very itchy to sleep. Kids in near by rooms were very loud and I wish staff would have told them to quiet down. There is no way they didn’t hear them.

Travelled to Dettingen/Konstanz for a friends wedding. The room was HOT but comfortable enough. Breakfast was reasonable with a cold buffet served in the morning, though not particularly cheap. There isn't a great deal of choice in the local area but for a small town the hotel was good.

The accommodation here is simple and very clean. The staff are very friendly and the restaurant food is really excellent. We enjoyed our complimentary breakfast and excellent dinners. It’s also very well located very near the ferry, lake and bus into town. It’s in walking distance to a fantastic thermal pool and spa. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This wasn't our first time at this hotel, but unfortunately, the cleanliness has declined. At breakfast, some cups looked like they hadn't seen a dishwasher or weren't properly cleaned. We also noticed residues on plates and cutlery.

All around pleasant experience. There’s friendly staff and nice selection at the breakfast. The main downside is the location. It’s quite far away from the center. However, you can get free public transport tickets at the reception, and the bus to the city center stops right infront of the hotel. Therefore the location isn’t a big issue.

There was a large spiderweb in the room, the curtains were stained, and there was a dead spider. The towels didn't smell fresh. The staff couldn't speak German, and their English was heavily accented, making it hard to understand.

Great proximity to car rental. It's located in an industrial area, but there are plenty of dining options and a supermarket nearby. Breakfast was good, though the Western options were quite basic. Rooms are a bit small. Keep windows shut to avoid bugs. Despite its roadside location, it was surprisingly quiet.

Aqua hotel has very friendly staff that make one feel at home and offers a kids friendly environment. They offer a very good breakfast buffet with a lot variety (including avocados every morning!). Super nice modern hotel with extremely friendly owner. I arrived late (after 7) and it was no problem to check in and order breakfast still. You order your breakfast in advance which I found quite practical and super easy. I had a single room the room was super spacious with bathtub and shower. Nice, modern hotel with an attached restaurant where breakfast is served in the morning. The hotel is located directly at the train station. With the window closed, the trains could not be heard. The lakeshore is just a few minutes' walk away. The on-site team is very friendly and courteous and responded quickly to my emails when I made the booking.

The hotel is located in a residential area and has a modern design. The reception staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's the perfect base for exploring the Lake Constance region, especially Reichenau, Konstanz, Mainau, etc. All amenities are available, including parking right outside and a small shop in the hotel.

Really good stay: nice room and good location (next to the bus stop Neuwerk). The hotel also provides the Bodensee Gastekarte, which can be used for public transportation. Only issue was with a dirty towel, but hotel staff was able to give me another one.

It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Excellent choice for short stay in Konstanz. Quiet pedestrian area on edge of old town 10 mins from station. Rooms not spacious but well equipped with draw and hanging space. Inclusion of breakfast a bonus but plenty of excellent bakeries/cafes around. Well pleased with our choice.

Overall, the experience was good. There was a minor hiccup during check-in on the first night; the staff couldn't find my reservation, but they were still very nice and gave me a large room. The next day, I went back to the front desk and they confirmed they had found my reservation. Apart from this minor issue, everything else was excellent. The staff was very patient and helpful.
