ibis Konstanz in Konstanz

Pros: Secure parking under the hotel. Friendly staff at the reception and in the dining area. Clean bed. Two room cards for two guests. Huge breakfast selection, high-quality food, and constantly replenished. The best breakfast of all the Ibis hotels I’ve stayed at.

Cons: Black mold in the bathroom (room 435). We found a lot of hair in the bathroom (in the shower and stuck to the tiles). It wasn’t possible to connect HDMI to the TV to watch our own movie from a laptop, as we usually do in hotels. The Wi-Fi in the room didn’t work well, and we also had no mobile signal in the room or hallway, so we were completely without internet and couldn’t even make calls.

Conclusion: Despite the shortcomings, I have to give a great rating because we were really impressed with the breakfast. ❤️

Great location, walking distance from the lake and the old city. Bus and tram stops are very near, so using public transport is easy. There is a big underground parking. The ground floor and reception desk are under renovation currently, so the lobby is now more of a construction site :) Staff are very nice and attentive, we did not like our room initially and right away we were offered to change the room. Will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Very clean and price was very good. What we liked most was that the hotel was close to the old town. Check-out was until 12 o'clock so you can get some sleep next day. The reception staff was very friendly, there is a secured garage for cars under the hotel, it costs 13 euros for 24 hours, very affordable. I recommend this hotel to everyone, and for my next visit to Konstanz, I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location for the price. It's only a 12 minute walk from Konstanz-Petershausen station, right on the Rhine River, and a pleasant walk to the Old Town. The room was clean and modern. The staff are friendly. There was a wide variety of delicious and healthy options for breakfast. I would stay here again.

Nice spacious rooms, newly refurbished and stylish, nice reception desk. They're still not completely done with the refurbishment but have done their best to accommodate the guests as much as possible.
Staff was polite, but a bit bizarre in behaviour (foreign students?).
Parking is available underground, you have to pay.
Sorry, I couldn't manage the online TV & couldn't watch any television.

Great service – everything went smoothly with our dog, too. We got a quick bite to eat late in the evening.

Location is good. Cross the bridge and you are in the centre of the city. What I don't like is noisiness of housekeeping staff and the staff is whistling. For many countries and cultures whistling belongs to very bad superstitions and it is very uncomfortable to hear the staff at breakfast and housekeeping workers whistle in the corridor
