Good hotel for those level. The room and the bath was very clean. The attendants were pretty nice and helpful. You haven't fridge in the room but they offer it in the hall. The area is amazing with an awesome view but I'd like to give special attention for the rooms. My room had many useful details was it's important for me. A hanger in the door, a branch for the luggage, an office table, a small closet, a big support for the shampoo and the soap in the shower and near the sink, what we use to don't find at the mostly hotels. The bed and pillow was not so good, but passt. It's a calm option

I stayed one month in this hotel before I moved to the area. It is a small hotel on the top of the hill in the nature. It doesn´t offer all the luxury of big hotels but you will find a home like atmosphere here, friendly owners and amazing views to the Black Forest. First week I stayed in the old room furnished in the country style, later I was moved to the second floor into modern renovated room. Both were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was simple as it is a small hotel with not too many guests, but I was always served like a queen. The owner greeted me friendly every morning, asking how I am with a real interesst, prepared a fresh coffee, offered news paper and when there were not too many guests we had a nice talk. There is a big parking in front of the hotel, several walking and cycling trails starting right in front of the hotel, but it is far to the city.

My wife and I first stayed at this accommodation last year and were so impressed that we returned again recently, when it was just as good. The hosts/owners are still very welcoming and our floor two room with balcony overlooking the Schwarzwald was again excellent. We also enjoyed eating in its restaurant each evening and the food was impressive and reasonably priced. Vielen Dank Svein und Barbera.

Beautiful location where you can see the hills all around as far as the alps. A bit hard to get to but worth it! Perfect if you want to do some walking in the evening.

Three of us ate in the restaurant on Saturday and were absolutely satisfied. The food was excellent and you can tell that the ingredients are fresh. You can still get good quality here at prices that are not overpriced. Finally I was able to eat a very good roast again. The staff and the owners are very friendly. The view from the terrace is simply wonderful and invites you to linger. We will definitely come back to eat.

I stayed here for 3 nights during a business trip. I was amazed in the morning by the amazing view from my room. No surprise then, that the people who work here are very friendly and polite. I had some great conversations with them during breakfast.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only complained i had, that the internet was weak and cut out from time to time.

Love the Hohe Flum! I have stayed here several times when visiting our office in Schopfheim for business travel. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. Due to the location, it is very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are recently renovated and very nice/ clean. The view from my room was always amazing! Very nice walking trails nearby. The food at the restaurant is also very good! I have tried many things on the menu and was never disappointed. The view from the patio is also great for enjoying your meal. For the cost, I feel that this is hands down, the best hotel in the area (I have stayed at several nearby), I would certainly stay again and would recommend to anyone else looking to stay in the area. I simply cannot say enough good things.
