We spent a few nights in this hotel. The place is very cosy, the bed was comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Also Schluchsee is well located when visiting the Black Forest region.

We had a great time at this hotel. It is family operated and everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food at the hotel restaurant was fantastic, and prices very reasonable. We are planning to stay here again next year.

We spent a few nights in this hotel. The room are very cosy, the bed was comfortable and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has its own restaurant which is convenient. Also Schluchsee is well located when visiting the Black Forest region.

Basic but very comfy room. Super friendly staff. Hearty and delicious breakfast. Beautiful location and scenery. Quaint village.

I think most guests tend to be German or, at least, German speaking but our English-speaking group were very well received. The accommodation was much as expected for a three-star hotel, possibly better and the food, especially in the evening, was excellent, really excellent! Some minor issues such as old door locks which need replaced or repaired but otherwise a very enjoyable experience. We will return.

We enjoyed a very good lunch here. The steak, stroganoff, and goulash were wonderful. Always a challenge to order off a German menu with limited (or no German) speakers in our group, but staff was kind and helpful to us.

Very good "vintage" hotel. If you are looking for a "family" hotel, pet friendly, that's the place... with a good bar...

Pleasant stay. Very basic room might be what over priced. Place was very clean but beds too short (1.90m). Good food in the evening as well as in the morning.
