Fantastic hotel! We chose it for its proximity to the autobahn as a halfway stop as we travel to Italy and we are so glad we did! From the moment we walked in we were made to feel special. The bowling centre is not so nice, with quite old and broken lanes. There're also just three ball weight options. The staff is nice and the location is good but for a good party centre, including eating and maybe some other games that you want to do, I would recommend somewhere else.

I was completely impressed by this hostel. I have stayed in hostels before and this was, by FAR the nicest one I have ever stayed in. Because the hostel is adjacent to the pub and other businesses, I appreciated that the hostel area was secure accessible with keycards, as well as the rooms themselves. I missed out on breakfast but overall, I would absolutely stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic hostel. Simon was absolutely amazing and so helpful, arranging a late check in and extending my stay with minimal effort. I really like the single beds instead of bunk beds, super comfy and everything you’d need.

We stayed at Go2Bed for 2 nights over the weekend and can highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. The rooms are well equipped, the neighborhood is quiet and the breakfast is amazing (especially value for money). Coupled with the super friendly staff this hotel would deserve 6 stars out of 5!! The staff were ever so helpful. A lot of the staff spoke multiple languages, which helped a lot. (I am only English speaking) Catered for gluten free and offered oat and soya milk. Only rated 4/5 for condition because there was ongoing maintenance which I wasn’t aware of....

What we didn’t like was the restaurant outside dining was below our window and the cigarette smoke came in our window. The crowd was noisy. But the restaurant closed at ten then it was very quiet.

We stayed for one week in Todtmoos, and almost every evening we had our diner in Maien. The staff is very friendly (the blond girl especialy) And the food was great every evening.

At check-in there was nothing at the desk, a waiter from the restaurant tried to assist and we figured it out. In the morning the receptionist was quit rude, would not look at me, short answers, and just not very friendly. Amazed at her rudeness in such a beautiful place.

The soup was sooo good. The people serving us were so nice and friendly even with their broken english they tried their best which I do respect a lot. But the table next to us was a strange dude staring at my girlfriend and I which was so cringe.

We visited hotel Maien twice for a week and we loved it very much both times. The room of our first stay and the appartment of our second stay were very nice, the restaurant is incredibly romantic and the food was GREAT. Prices are nice too. We now plan to visit this romantic Schwarzwald hotel for a third time!

Rock hard bed. Mattress toppers added on second night just made it a very, very firm bed. We got upgraded to this large attic room. The bed is against the eave and at 1.68m, we still could not sit up in bed without banging our heads. Breakfast good. Evening meals very variable and mainly stodgy. The pastry chef is the star here. Excellent, high-quality cuisine with a good selection of dishes. Great location. The best restaurant in Todtmoos and the surrounding area. Prices are quite high. This is probably also due to the fact that the guests here are mainly Swiss, and you can earn real money there. In any case, I'll gladly return again and again.

Great hotel for when you are passing through. Located on an industrial estate just behind the border control with Switzerland. As a result, you can already hear trucks driving past around 5 am. The hotel itself is showing its age, and the room facilities are old, but the triple room we stayed in was very large, and the beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfying, and the bar on the lobby floor was appealing. The location is very close to the highway, making access excellent, and the large car park is well-equipped, so we were satisfied.
