Clean and nice hotel.

All of the hotel was spotless, the staff were great and thier english was better than my german. When i return to explore the area more i shall defimatley stay here again 🙂

An amazing Hotel located a short distance (15 mins) away from Triberg. World class amenities and tasteful decor, right from the lobby through to the restaurant and rooms. The hotel also takes every effort towards sustainability.
We requested for a crib in the room for our infant. We were pleasantly surprised when we found several baby products and a diaper pail in the room. Top marks for thoughtfulness.
Beware , the facility is not air-conditioned, which was a minor inconvenience since we visited during very high temperatures.

The reception staff at this hotel were extremely unwelcoming, unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. Your first impressions were bad. Check-in process was unpleasant.

The rooms were bright and clean. There were no hot drinks (coffee or tea) in the rooms.

Breakfast was comprehensive. Small hot food section, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, cereals and bread rolls. On the busier weekend days, the staff struggled to keep up with bringing out enough food, so lots of empty plates at the serving station. The staff also struggled to clean and set tables during these days. Poor planning from the management.

Overall, I would not recommend this place. Such a shame.

Nice and big rooms.

I sat at the restaurant/bar area for over an hour one evening and nobody came over to check if I wanted anything to drink. My colleague had to walk over to the bar to order. Not the service I'm used to.

Nature's Escape!!
What a view!! This room has no air conditioning but would definitely go back. I don't like cold air blasting, so it was not inconvenient for me. The view from my room was so comforting and nice to sit in the balcony enjoying it all even for a short stay. I took a short walk after dinner and very relaxing and quiet town. The service checking in and service at the restaurant for dinner and morning buffet was excellent. Greaj job!! First time in Germany and the warm feeling and welcome was extremely appreciated. Thank you!!

Nice modern place in idyllic location in the black forest with modern rooms and nice views all around. Service was ok, but can be improved. There was an event happening at one of the evenings during our stay. We asked for a coffee as guests there and got send away. I understand the restaurant is closed due to the event but it should be possible to arrange a cup of coffee for the hotel guests if customer service is made a priority.

The Hotel has a great location, but you cant expect like Triberg or something like that.

This Hotel needs a drastic improvements in their Services. We stayed in this hotel for 3Nights, and interestingly we didn’t even have water bottles on our last day. It was super difficult to arrange a bottle as it was Easter weekend.
There are not many Options in the Breakfast, Chef makes a pathetic Omlettes and Scrambled Eggs. If you want to have fresh Juice, You have to keep asking them for fresh fruits Apples etc. again and again. In the Crowd of 30-35 people, You would find one Bowl of 1sliced Apple. I guess, Hotel expects you to drink it with Spoon. Unbelievable.
Likewise, RoofTop opens Only till 20:00PM. When it will be Opened, and when it will be closed - No. body knows.
Like wise the Restaurants has the same situation.
I travelled there with family and Kids.
Overall, I would say I am NOT satisfied.

You can tell whoever put this place together cares a great deal about their hotel. It is well-maintained, beautiful, and an absolute gem in the black forest. We have stayed at quite a few places since arriving in Germany and this has by far been our most favorite. We were greeted kindly upon checking in and every time we interacted with anyone, the breakfast was also great and the rooms were very nice. All around an incredible hotel with an awesome view of the surrounding town.
