Holiday Inn - the niu, Kettle Stuttgart Vaihingen by IHG in Stuttgart

The staff and policies of this hotel are extremely inflexible. I booked a two night stay as I was flying in from the UK. Unfortunately, there was unexpected problem with my passport. Due to the late timing I expected to pay for the first night stay. However, for the second night I notified the hotel I would not stay in time for the hotel to rebook the room to another customer. Nonetheless, the hotel insisted on still charging me. Do not stay here if you are a busy traveler who needs flexible and good customer service. I will not stay here again on trips to Stuttgart.

I don't recommend it .

Location is the best part of this place. It is huge, but unfortunately It's only for the pictures.
We got a room on the ground floor and the lobby was packed with people, which led us to believe that the hotel was full. That being said, we didn't understand why there were only two employees during such a busy weekend. My friend and I went to their restaurant and asked if we can order some food. The receptionist informed us that only pizza can be made, but "she needs to close the bar for some time cause she has a lot of check in-s to do, which are a priority."
It should be noted that there were three tables beside us at the bar.
Earlier when we wanted to ask a couple of questions at the reception, we were fully ignored and just went back to our room. Another time when we got the time of day to ASK a question, the receptionist just turned to his colleague and started explaining something about their internal program. We received a response after a very awkward and embarrasing wait.

Going back to that restaurant wait, we are still sitting and waiting, though the reception is absoutely empty :)
