Hotel Römerhof in Stuttgart

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights during a business trip. I was a bit surprised with the restaurant opening hours as it closes at 8:30 and it's closed on Friday nights and weekends. It can make things complicated if you are exhausted, new in town and you just want to eat and go to bed after a long day. My room was ok although the toilet was in a tiny room seperate from the rest of the bathroom that included the shower and sink. This tiny room had no windows or ventilation, so that was fun... The location is ok if you have work to do at the uni campus but not ideal for anything else unless you arrive by car I guess. The closest restaurants are quite far if you go on foot and it can be a bit unsettling as the streets are deserted after a certain hour in the evening. The breakfast was pretty descent. I didn't find an elevator anywhere and the rooms were minimum on the 1st floor, so heads up for people with mobility issues. The personel were polite and helpful. Last but not least, although the room was clean, my sheets were smelly. There are very few alternatives in the area, so if you are not bound to this part of the city, I don't really recommend it.

Very close to STEP business center. Decent breakfast. Room was clean but a bit small, especially the bed.
