This is a good place to stay if you have a business meeting with Swiss and German expatriates. There is a mosque, and this place is a source of many halal foods.

Good value, It’s a little tired but the bed was very comfortable and a nice power shower.

I've been staying at this hotel for years (1-2 times a year), but unfortunately, there haven't been many renovations or improvements to the building or the rooms. The front desk staff are decent, and check-in is done on a tablet (quite small, like a mini iPad). It's a nice touch that apples are available at the entrance. The elevator is slow and noisy; it's always the same one out of the three installed...

The hotel itself is showing its age, and the room facilities are old, but the triple room we stayed in was very large, and the beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfying, and the bar on the lobby floor was appealing. The location is very close to the highway, making access excellent, and the large car park is well-equipped, so we were satisfied.

Reasonable price, restaurant was quite good but hotel looked bit tired, only one lift was working while we were there.

Good deal price location but the mattress is to soft and not comfortable the blanket too small

The hotel rooms are spacious compared to most others. The interior is simple but new and clean, especially the bathroom. Breakfast buffet is great and has everything you would expect. The staff is very friendly and refreshingly flexible and fast. Overall an excellent deal!

A very good experience The hotel is in the sixth floor of a shopping center so it haves a lot of facilities. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good. The parking was free of charge and the staff very friendly. Recommend!

This hotel is located inside a shopping center. Our room overlooked the Rhine River. It was a bit of a walk from the parking lot, but the location and value for money were excellent.

Rooms are okay and clean, I was unable to regulate the shower temp because of cheap mixer! Restaurant is great and good service, food is delicious and a lot. Breakfast was okay, sausage was cooled and meatballs is not meatballs!

Easy access, good parking, small but nice room, friendly, helpful staff, good breakfast buffet. Will stay again.

Very clean, friendly staff. A very simple breakfast included, but we were very satisfied with it. Free WiFi. The Chinese restaurant had not opened when we we're there, but we found a lovely cosy restaurant 750m away that served delicious German food, Stettemer Wiikeller. I recommend the cordon bleu with spätzle.

Wonderful staff, very convenient location (right next to the Swiss border and a short drive from Basel), clean and offers an excellent breakfast buffet. Child and pet friendly. Spacious parking in front. Also has a conference room and a bar. 👌

Very friendly and responsive staff. I requested a fan a 10pm and they quickly came to my room with it.

Very nice, clean, comfortabel hotel

The staff were ever so helpful. A lot of the staff spoke multiple languages, which helped a lot. (I am only English speaking) Catered for gluten free and offered oat and soya milk. Fully stocked fridge with beer, water and soft drinks. 5 mins walk from the highstreet. 20 min walk to vitra museum. Only rated 4/5 for condition because there was ongoing maintenance which I wasn’t aware of....

Happy to recommend Lovely small hotel in a quiet residencial area with easy assess by bus to Basel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent and very well presented. Happy to visit again.

Really a family hotel with a personal service. Everything well thought through in the hotel and room. Spacious room and bathroom, very quiet. High comfort for the price.

We had such a lovely, warm welcome and the staff could not be more helpful. Inside, the hotel is clean and welcoming. The hotel is very conveniently positioned and about 10 or 15 minutes to the tram stop into Basel. The breakfast was absolutely first class - plenty of options and the rooms were great.

Booked the hotel for a stopover. The location initially put me off, but the hotel is close to the highway and several restaurants. Upon arrival, we received friendly service. A nice, spacious apartment for four people. The curtain on the top floor wasn't adequate, but it wasn't a problem for our children. The bathroom was also clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent...

Very comfortable hotel with good breakfast. Near lorry park though a short walk to amenities. No air conditioning however fans provided.

Everyone at the hotel were so helpful and kind. Especially Jasmine at the hotel reception was so wonderfully cheerful and lovely, she let us choose our own music to play when we were the only customers in the lobby bar. A clean, comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. Buffet breakfast with good variety. Within walking distance of the train & tram station/stop. Hotel appeared to be getting renovated - this did not impact our stay negatively in any way.

Hotel was nice but the carpark was very difficult to find and there was an extra charge for parking which is not mentioned when booking

If you are looking for a good budget room for a night or two, then this is the right place. the ladies at the reception were super nice and very helpful. The hotel in itself isnt the best. But the location, the in house restaurant and the personal compensate for the shortcomings

Great hotel for when you are passing through. Located on an industrial estate just behind the border control with Switzerland. As a result, you can already hear trucks driving past around 5 am. Room was small, hot/stuffy (it was also 30+ degrees outside, no airco inside) but clean. Good breakfast, friendly staff. If you are looking for a hotel for several days, I would look further.

Perfect hidden gem! Small hotel, friendly staff, fresh breakfast, clean rooms, across from a grocery store (Lidl), close enough to Basel without paying Swiss prices.

Good value great location visit Switzerland for day and coming back instead of paying outrageous Swiss hotel rates

Feel like staying in grandma’s house

Overnight stop on journey through Europe Just what we needed in terms of type of hotel, parking and location close to the river and restaurants. Breakfast was good value.

Value for money simple, clean and more than adequete for business and solo traveller. transportation is easy ( 5 minutes walk to tram station direct to Basel). Save £££ copmare to Basel with a tiny room

Everything you need for a brief stay Everything I needed. Trams into the city were very regular from 10 min walk. Friendly landlords. Plenty of shops. Value for money

A nice place to stay for a couple of nights. Well worth the money.

Maximilian Hotel & Apartments Weil am Rhein / Basel

We checked in 2 rooms and paid with one invoice which may have caused the confusion that internet login did not work for one of the rooms. Facilities need more attention; hot water in the temperature changes a lot and often. The shower curtain was too narrow to cover the stall so splashed the floor wet when shower. The shower head slips every time shower head was in use. Location is great.

Arrived at 4:30 am and Zain the night receptionist was very helpful indeed. Great to have easy access parking. Hotel not well sign posted. Look for Best Western as in same building.Clean and comfortable room. Relaxed and ready for onward journey.

Location and parking are convoluted and difficult to navigate with baggage. It is located on the 6th floor of a busy shopping complex, with no passenger/ baggage drop off at street level and no access from parking level. The room was large and well appointed, but the open shower floor was slippery when wet. After several days of great rooms at a lower price ( while touring in Germany) we were underwhelmed

Room service was great and direct in a shopping center.

Booked in there this weekend. Only went to find out the location. Looks good.

Great hotel nice staff. Great location. Only good at the winter season. In the summer chose dreilanderbrucke hotel it has airconditions.
