This hotel was a great value for our stopover from France to Zurich, Switzerland. The rooms were clean and quite spacious, with lovely views of the Basel cityscape from the window. The hotel's decor felt very refined and elegant throughout. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and very plentiful! All the staff were also very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast is really good! Also good options if you are lactose intolerant or can’t eat gluten. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are good. It would be nice to have more hooks or bars in the bathroom to hang towels and bathrobes.

The room is basic but it has everything needed for the short stay. Location is next to Messeplatz .

Amazing. My first time here and I can tell that next time I'll come to Basel I will again book a room in this hotel. My room was awesome, SUPER silent, super clean, well it's an easy 5 star rating to give here.

For a modern hotel, the rooms were not. They were ok but not what we expected. Couldn't control the room temperature and it was very hot, especially for winter. Had to get a fan from the front desk just to get some sleep.

The hotel started off strange, as we tried to park in the hotel parking directly under the hotel and the guy didn't open the gate for us, and when I called back, he hung up. We eventually parked next door (very expensive), but was fine. The check in was incredibly slow and the guy was super unfriendly. The room had lovely view overlooking actually 3 countries. It’s located right next to the tram station which was super convenient to get to the main train stop. They had lovely friendly staff and we got a small treat and flavored water while we were waiting for check in. They also give you a card to travel around the city on the public transport. Breakfast was also really good!!

Poor quality mattress and pillow that is old. No bath robe, toiletries and bedroom slippers. They didn’t bother to top up water, coffee or tea on subsequent days. Did not consistently clear the trash. Not a nice feeling when returning from a long day of meetings, to see that the room is not cleaned up.

Lovely ambience and excellent staffs, situated in very convenient location to Train Station and well connected to all the tourist attractions by bus and trams. Enjoyed staying in Raddison Blue.

The hotel is not far from the city center, which makes it quite convenient. It is also very easy to reach from Basel SBB Central Station by public transport. Bus number 30 runs almost directly in front of the hotel—you can simply cross the street from the station and catch the bus from the corner. They provided a printed Basel Card at check-in, which allowed me to use public transportation for free...

This is a good place to stay if you have a business meeting with Swiss and German expatriates. There is a mosque, and this place is a source of many halal foods.

I've been staying at this hotel for years (1-2 times a year), but unfortunately, there haven't been many renovations or improvements to the building or the rooms. The front desk staff are decent, and check-in is done on a tablet (quite small, like a mini iPad). It's a nice touch that apples are available at the entrance. The hotel itself is showing its age, and the room facilities are old, but the triple room we stayed in was very large, and the beds were large and comfortable. Breakfast was very satisfying, and the bar on the lobby floor was appealing. The location is very close to the highway, making access excellent, and the large car park is well-equipped, so we were satisfied.

Reasonable price, restaurant was quite good but hotel looked bit tired, only one lift was working while we were there.

One of the more modern ibis hotels that is well designed and has a hot breakfast. Its slightly far from Basel SBB but completely walkable. Would stay here again.

This has been one of the best stays in Switzerland! The reception staff were at their best in customer service! Kudos to them! The breakfast had a good spread and it is always good to see a smiling face in any country we visit and it starts from where we have chosen to stay. Keep up the good work!

A simple but clean hotel. However, it lacks amenities like a kettle, slippers, and a safe. Breakfast was quite meager. It's located quite a distance from the city center and train station, but on the upside, it's very affordable.

Very large and modern room. We had booked an early flight and had to catch the first bus in the morning. The bus stop is right across the street, and it's just under a 10-minute walk to the airport.

This hotel is located inside a shopping center. Our room overlooked the Rhine River. It was a bit of a walk from the parking lot, but the location and value for money were excellent.

Rooms are okay and clean, I was unable to regulate the shower temp because of cheap mixer! Restaurant is great and good service, food is delicious and a lot. Breakfast was okay, sausage was cooled and meatballs is not meatballs!

This hotel is in a great location. The surroundings are nice. The staff were very helpful, and the room had a Type-C charger, which was great.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the square, making it incredibly convenient for experiencing Basel's cityscape and transportation. The hotel is newly renovated, modern in style, and impeccably clean. The only downside was that on my check-in day, a weekend, the restaurant and bar downstairs was open late into the night, and the music was disturbing and made it difficult to sleep.

It was one of the best hotels I've ever been. I recommend it to everyone. If I go back to Basel, I would definitely choose only this hotel.

The windows are not soundproof, everything else is good

Location across from main train station and tram outside hotel entrance is perfect for exploring Basel if you are on there for a short time. Outside dining area to sit and watch the world go by. Lobby bar area with piano player in the evening is lovely. Room wasn’t the biggest and you could only get into the bed on one side as it was up against the wall. The hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The room was super modern and stylish (I loved the design details), and little touches like a refillable water bottle and a Dyson air purifier really stood out. The location is also spot on: an easy walk from the train station and close to all the main sights and great restaurants. Stayed here for a week. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, just a walk away to tram and bus station. The best thing was, International guests got Basel Card for free transportation within the city. Will comeback and stay at this hotel again if I i hv the opportunity.

Amazing hotel in a great location. The river is on one side with nice views of the city, then you have the Christmas market on the other side during December. Super convenient location and you can get to anywhere in Basel taking the tram.

We were usung public transport and this hotel was perfect.  It is only a 2 minute walk from the Central Station.  Plus there was a tram 1/2 block from the hotel that took you downtown.  We were given a “Basel Card” which gave us free transport, even to the airport. In addition, what was called a continental breakfast was much more.  Scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, various breads and an excellent coffee...

Top Hotel, very cozy room with spacious bathroom. Super new and super clean. Stuff friendly and helpful. Only 4 stars because at breakfast we had to wait for a table as there are to less. And breakfast buffet was to small. Only very few things to eat.

We were able to check in an hour early as our room was ready. This was much appreciated as we flew all night and part of the next day to get there. The front desk was exceptional in advising us on directions and how to use the trams in Basel. The room was very well appointed.

Its 15 minuten walk to the trainstation.so thats nice but Indië not sleep well the noise from outside was awful the train and tram. And the room is really really budget .price is wayyyyy to high for that room.anyway i was there just for 6 hours of sleep.

I have stayed in many Ibis Budget across Europe but this one stood as among the worse in design. 1. There was no place to keep the suitcase 2. The toilet door doesnt have a knob by design 3. There is no exhaust for the toilet 4. Plug points to charge were at ground level not table level 5. Not enough lighting and when packing to checkout I almost missed a few items. 6. There is so much wasted space...
