In all a great hotel and I would recommend. Just a few things that, for me let it down just a bit. We were placed in a disabled/ accessible room. It meant we had a huge shower but also bars. I didn't book an accessible room, so why wasn't I given a choice. The garage was rather dark, my wife didn't like it there. And finally sone of the upstairs hallways were dingy too, certainly some better LED lighting...

Fantastic location A very well located hotel for us to explore the area of both Germany and Austria! Excellent breakfast buffet and the breakfast staff were fantastic. This hotel is for families or old people looking for a quiet weekend. Our suite had no air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open for ventilation, which allowed flies to come in. We had a fantastic experience at Klosterhof. The staff made us feel so welcome and well looked after. The rooms are amazing, it is worth getting the rooms with the views of the mountains. This is a great place. Great and friendly service. Rooms are big and there is a really nice German restaurant down the street.

The location is good, more than 200 meters away from the old salt factory. It is convenient to eat opposite. The Italian food is really good. There is also a supermarket next to it, which is convenient for shopping. The hotel rooms are also very good. It is worth recommending

Room was mostly clean but a rather large cobweb in the corner of the room with a few huge spiders. Staff was very friendly and helpful getting the room cleaned up. Biggest down side was the parking. Make sure you book it in advance. They only have 9 spots and they go quick.

Wonderful stay This little hotel is a gem. The owners were friendly and the room was spacious and comfortable. Also very well located, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The only thing missing was a coffee machine in the room.

Stayed here for 3 days. I really enjoyed everything - the location, the staff, and the excellent breakfasts👍. The hotel is decorated in a Bavarian style. The view from the balcony is stunning😍. The hotel has a sauna. There are many interesting attractions nearby. I really want to come back here again.

Visited with aging parents, and this hotel delivered for everyone. The staff was patient with my parents who were not familiar with language or culture, and the facilities were outstanding. We were lucky enough to stay here for four nights in the middle of September 2024. Our views from our balcony were beautiful. We slept soundly thanks to the river flowing next to the road. This is a beautiful little place just outside of Berchtesgaden (less than 5 min drive). The new owners were very kind and flexible with us. They provided lots of great recommendations. The chef they have on premises is excellent. Our kids loved the pool and the hot tub. The apartment was very high quality and had everything we needed. Definitely book this if available.

Each of the 3 apartments we have stayed in have been slightly different, but all very well furnished, lots of kitchen equipment, comfortable sofas and beds.
